I ordered fresh orange juice and shrimps as a main course. It was fresh and tasted good. If you’re not able to eat with chopsticks, the restaurant provides you a normal fork and a spoon.
Kinda surprising was, that apart from other restaurants, you get seafood without any side dishes. In other restaurants you usually get steamed rice for free.
The price wasn’t bad, slightly more expensive than other restaurants near by.
You can use restaurant’s sun beds and sun umbrellas on the beach, which is fine.
What I liked was that when you enter the restaurant from the side of a road, you can see that they keep life sea creatures in tanks and jars, so you can be sure that if you order any seafood, it’s gonna be fresh.
What I didn’t like at all was that when I was just passing by many times, the staff was always smiling and offering me to go there and get some food. When I finally agreed on going there, I sat to the table and suddenly felt invisible. I was there alone, the staff basically ignored me. I don’t know if it was because I was there alone or because I’m a foreigner who doesn’t speak Vietnamese. Anyway there were some other (Vietnamese) visitors and they were surrounded by the staff almost all the time. I didn’t mind being left alone, but I didn’t like waiting just to order the food and then for...
Read moreI didn't have the pleasure to try their food. I only had a cold milk coffee and it was delicious. But a nice family at the table beside me that I got to talk with had food and they loved it very much. They enjoyed the oysters the fish and a few other things they tried.
I will definitely go back there and try their food and will update my review of this place for their food.
I had the pleasure to talk with the owners and they are very friendly and great hosts. One more reason to go back there. The place has great vibes and atmosphere and facing a nice clean beach.
I usually go to An Bang Beach for restaurants by the beach. But I will definitely come to this restaurant to try their food. And if it's has good as the peoples at the table next to mine said.
It could definitely become my new beach restaurant . I will update this review as soon has I have the pleasure to try it out.

Read moreBooked Hon Restaurant as my dinner venue of choice a week before I arrived Hoi An after reading reviews. There were easily 7 seafood restaurants along the beach front. Was warmly welcomed by the lady boss Lien who ushered me and my wife to a table of four at the edge of the restaurant with full view of swimmers frolicking by the beach and glimpse of the setting sun. We ordered 2 king prawns steamed, a BBQ squid, 2 salt baked crabs for 2 pax. I brought a bottle of Red to pair with the fresh seafood, which service staff served dish by dish for us to slowly enjoy progressively. Upon finishing the 3 dishes, we found ourselves having the capacity to have another lobster, steamed to perfection. Lien's hubby Tho is a friendly, hard-working chap, who many will think as another service staff, going round and cleaning up tables and asking customers for feedback on food. His unassuming manners left a lasting impression on me. I myself will return to Hon Restaurant the next time I set foot at Hoi An /Danang. The atmosphere, service and fresh food left me thinking of nowhere else for a relaxing...
