After being informed by a taxi driver that this was one of the best seafood restaurants around, we were extremely disappointed with everything.
Whilst a great location, situated on the beachfront, that was about all it had going for it.
The place didn't look very clean and we later saw rats running around the restaurant area. Whilst this is almost impossible to control when on a beach, it is very off-putting.
The cleanliness issue took an even worse turn when I asked for a knife. The waitress went away and came back, making a point of rubbing her bare hands up and down the knife as if to say 'look, I'm cleaning this for you'!
All of the seafood is supposedly freshly caught and can be seen in fishtanks in the reception. I very much doubted that the king prawns that I had were fresh as they were the least fresh tasting shrimps I have ever had.
With only a few other diners in an area that must seat over 200, there was no atmosphere whatsoever.
I really would tell people to avoid this place if they want quality seafood in a clean...
