IXORA CAFE & DINING — Restaurant in Hội An

We have been to Vietnam many times and the food at Ixora is by far THE BEST!! (i don't say it lightly!) We stayed at the hotel opposite and went there the first night. Presentation, quality (so fresh!), quantity and most importantly the taste! Just sooo delicious!! We tried the other 3 restaurants next door, let's just say there's a reason why we kept going back to Ixora!! Honestly, forget about going into old town for those recommended restaurants. You won't get better and more authentic Vietnamese than here. So cheap too!! (not an ad) During our week long stay, we tried many of their dishes, It's rare for a Vietnamese restaurant to do all their food well, and they do. Wish we were staying longer to try more dishes!! We had their crispy squid, crispy prawns, cao lau, pork noodles with spring rolls, fried spring rolls, banh Xeo, grilled squid, grilled lemongrass beef, morning glory w/garlic, seafood pomelo salad, seafood fried rice, fried noodles w/vegetables...again, every single dish tasted so good. They always serve a plate of fresh fruit for dessert on the house. Everyone at the restaurant are so friendly, particularly the 2 ladies at the front. I'm missing the food already!! P. S they do takeaway aswell, i ordered food to eat...

We didn't realise this is a new place until after we had a meal and was about to write a review. It is a very nice, clean restaurant with the usual open dining area plus an smaller glass enclosed area. Menu has many of the regular dishes plus a few variations. We ordered fried noodles with shrimps and the pomelo salad with squid and shrimps. Both were freshly cooked and will presented. Nice size portion too. But the pomelo salad was absolutely zinging and I highly recommend. After seeing it delivered to a nearby table we ordered the banana cacoa bowl smoothie. This is not a drink but I would call it a dessert as it is a bowl of soft ice-cream or very thick cocoa milkshake with slices of banana, crushed nuts, maybe cereal prices and chai seeds and there's enough to share. Wir haben dort fantastisch und überaus günstig gegessen. Aber ich muss weiter ausholen: Durch Zufall haben wir 14 Tage genau gegenüber im Hotel gewohnt und am ersten Tag festgestellt, dass meine Badehose noch in Deutschland lag. Also rüber in die kleine Schneiderei, welche ebenfalls zum Restaurant gehört. Sofort hat die liebe Inhaberin "Lan" mit per Motorrad eine riesige und sehr günstige Auswahl an Badehosen bringen lassen. Was für ein Service! In der kurzen Wartezeit schaute ich mich genauer um. Mit dem Ergebnis nun um einige maßgeschneiderte Hemden, Hosen, und Anzüge reicher zu sein. Beste Qualität, beste Maße und alles zu unglaublich günstigen Preisen!!! Dankeschön "Tây".

Und dann kam die Idee dort auch Abendessen haben zu wollen. Lan besorgte uns vom Markt frische Kingprawns und Lobster und bereitete diese nach unsere Wünschen zu. Dazu selbstgemachte Frühlings- und Sommerrollen, hausgemachte Dipps, leckerste Gemüse, Reis und zum Abschluss selbstgemachten Flan mit zuckersüßer reifer Mango. Das die Getränke auch sehr günstig waren, rundet dadurch Ganze noch ab. Fazit: Ein eher unscheinbares Restaurant mit angeschlossenem Schneider und wirklich überragenden Essen. Und zwei liebenswerten Damen, welche sich rührend um Ihre Gäste kümmern.

Chúng tôi đã có một bữa ăn tuyệt vời và cực kỳ rẻ ở đó. Nhưng tôi phải giải thích thêm: Tình cờ chúng tôi ở khách sạn ngay bên kia đường suốt 14 ngày và ngay ngày đầu tiên phát hiện ra chiếc quần bơi của tôi vẫn còn ở Đức. Vì vậy, hãy đến tiệm may nhỏ, cũng là một phần của nhà hàng. Cô chủ dễ thương “Lan” ngay lập tức có ngay một bộ đồ bơi rất lớn và giá rất rẻ mang theo trên xe máy của mình. Thật là một dịch vụ! Trong thời gian chờ đợi ngắn ngủi, tôi đã nhìn kỹ hơn xung quanh. Kết quả bây giờ là có thêm một vài chiếc áo sơ mi, quần dài và vest được thiết kế riêng. Chất lượng tốt nhất, kích thước tốt nhất và mọi thứ với mức giá cực kỳ thấp!!! Cảm ơn bạn “Tây”.

Và rồi ý tưởng cũng muốn ăn tối ở đó xuất hiện. Lan mua cho chúng tôi tôm hùm và tôm hùm tươi từ chợ và chế biến chúng theo ý thích của chúng tôi. Cộng thêm chả giò nhà làm, nước chấm nhà làm, các loại rau thơm ngon nhất, cơm và cuối cùng là bánh flan tự làm với xoài chín ngọt. Thực tế là đồ uống cũng rất rẻ. Kết luận: Một nhà hàng khá kín đáo có thợ may kèm theo và đồ ăn thực sự nổi bật. Và hai người phụ nữ đáng yêu chăm sóc khách hàng một...
