This is a family owned, family run restaurant and is authentically superb. If you are looking for great food, from the heart, locally owned and run, this is it.
The family is wonderful, honest, and hardworking. The service is personal and honest and super friendly. Within minutes you feel like a guest in their home. The food is AMAZING! It is not "tourist food" they are giving you REAL VIETNAMESE COOKING
The chef is also the dad and husband who actually cooks the meals. He has worked and trained in 4 star hotels but also knows family so the presentation is good. The quality of the cooking is outstanding it is cooked to order so it is fresh fresh and straight off the cookwr to your table, (Dont be impatient).
The seafood we ate was freshly caight and purchased rhe same day we ate it so beautifully fresh.
The price is very very very reasonable, It is local, it is good and it is less than 20 seconds directly across from the Boutique Hoi An Resort Hotel.
You must try this at least ONCE. Know that you are not only getting great real authentic meals in a local restaurant but you are also supporting a family and their aspirations.
I cant recommend highly enough.
Oh and the chutney hot sauce is also home made, as is the home made ice cream. Seriously can't get better than that.

Read moreNow called Viets family restaurant but the same AMAZING food cooked freshly by the owner, his wife and mother. Lovely family restaurant and the food was amazing. The stuffed squid was as wonderful, if not better than Morning Glory in town. Stuffed leaves with beef and spicy sauce was yummy, as was the chicken and cashew nuts. Their home made ice cream is as fresh as the pieces of fruit it contained and divine. All with a lovely mijito and cold local beer. And all service with a huge smile and welcome. Such a lovely family business. Never one to normally eat across from our hotel, the Hoi An Boutique Resort, but having an amazing spa experience next door that they also run, we wanted to try and were not disappointed. Just wished we had not discovered the amazing food until our last night! Their homemade chilli sweet sauce was so nice we bought 2 jars to take home. Support this hardworking and lovely family - you won't be disappointed. Their lovely little 7 Yr old daughter played the waitress and did it so perfectly. We...
Read moreThank goodness we discovered this little gem on our first day because we went back every day for lunch! Amazing food - we sampled lots! Cocktails are less Than £2 each , beer 80p. A variety of food on their menu , including western if you fancy it (sandwiches, burgers, pizzas…) , although the local food is exceptional. We tried fried shrimps, sweet n sour, curry, fried rice, grilled beef, club sandwich… and all so delicious and cooked fresh. Equally, the fresh juices are made from scratch. Complimentary salted nuts with the drinks and always fresh watermelon to share at the end.
All service served with a smile by the wonderful family who run both the restaurant and the spa next door (which we also tried!). Spa prices were extremely reasonable and the experience was actually much better than what we had in Han Oi.
Just over the road from the Boutique hotel where we stayed . Do try it , also a fraction of the price for...
