Over my 3 days in the area, I ate here primarily because... i thought it was the best. I had two other meals at different restaurants near by and the taste, value, staff, and ambiance were not as good as here.

I have eaten: Spring rolls (x3) Beef and vegetables (x 2) Mixed vegetables (x 2) Chicken noodles (x 1) Also mango juice (no sugar)

This place grabbed my attention when walking by because it's quaint, so many beautiful plants, seating inside and out, and many fans foe circulation.

After this, I entered and was able to communicate with ease my eating preference (no msg, I'm allegic) and was pleasantly surprised that it was no big deal and she'd be happy to prefer anything I wanted. I believe, this restaurant may not use msg in its entirety. Which of course, is music to my ears and I want to eat healthy, natural tasting foods.

Portions are excellent. Prices are on point. Great communication. Lovely atmosphere. Taste and portions of meats included was filling.

I would continue to eat here but needed to...

The Old Man restaurant in Cua Dai is an absolute gem! A charming & cozy atmosphere, complete with rustic wooden tables, soft lighting & warm, friendly staff.

The menu is a terrific mix of Vietnamese & Western cuisine, with plenty of options for both meat-eaters & vegetarians. Every dish we tried was expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, bursting with flavor & beautifully presented.

We have a heap of favourites here but the standout dish for us is the chip chip (at least that's how it sounds to me!), little pipis served in a delicious garlic butter with fragrant lemongrass.

But the real star of the show is the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable & attentive, providing excellent recommendations & making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal (including cold beer & wine).

If you're around Cua Dai (or even if you're not), it's definitely wothy of a place in...

My favorite restaurant in Hoi An! They offer Local Food & Western Food in high quality and with a very good and cheap price.

It’s a family business that speaks perfect English and is very helpful and friendly.

In my one month in Hoi An I’ve probably eaten here more than 20 times and I would come back even more times if I don’t have to leave!

My personal favorite here is the fried rice with chicken, but they offer so many good things that you can find your favorite dish for sure...
