We ordered three dishes at this Vietnamese restaurant, but a fourth dish — an omelette that wasn’t even on the menu — was brought to our table. My husband double-checked the order, and we had clearly only ordered three items. We never ordered the omelette and didn’t eat it. We informed the staff right away.
The manager came over, and we had to explain the situation again. The atmosphere became increasingly confusing, and the staff started making phone calls, which made us feel very uncomfortable and pressured. In the end, the omelette was not charged on the bill, which we appreciated. However, due to the overall confusion and tension, we couldn’t enjoy our meal as we had hoped.
As for the food: the Bánh Xèo was about 3 out of 5 stars — decent, nothing special. The Bánh Mì Ốp La was just an average version that you can find all over Vietnam. Both of these were fine, and I have no complaints. However, the “Hội An style” Cao Lầu was disappointing. The soup lacked the distinct flavor that characterizes authentic Cao Lầu, and the meat topping was inedible. We didn’t eat the meat at all.
As for the atmosphere: the setting of the restaurant itself was good — no complaints there.

premium quality drinks and good food. depending on your choice fair prices; see photos of the new menu below (october 2025) with plenty of options for pretty much every taste and budget.
the pomelo salad with seafood and fresh herbs is the winning dish i had in hoi an and in danang in quite a while at many restaurants. maybe i was lucky because it was rather quiet, and the chef prepared things with love. communicate your preferred level of spiciness when you order. the 'matcha oat milk latte' deserves a michelin listing as well. the other dishes i tried were all of really good & fresh quality, but not outstanding compared with local premium alternatives. there are many dishes left on the menu, i have not tried yet.

Read moreHaving missed breakfast at our hotel, we found ourselves at NOA SEASON cuisine & café, and it proved to be a great alternative. I highly recommend trying their unique Salty Coffee and the refreshing Matcha Yogurt – both were standout choices. They offer a Special Combo for breakfast available from 06:00 to 10:30 AM. However, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend ordering the Cao Lau from this menu as it didn't quite meet expectations. A significant advantage for travelers, especially those from Russia, is the convenient acceptance of UnionPay cards without any extra commission fee – a hassle-free and lawful payment option. This combination of unique drinks and straightforward payment makes it a reliable spot if you miss your...
