We’ve been here countless of times and like the food here in general, salmon sashimi is fresh and other dishes like tamago and chawanmushi (for kids) are good. Recently tried their new menu of tonkatsu and it’s really yummy!
Service is also very good, the staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs and clear the table fast. We always like to go back because the people are nice there.
Food takes some time to be served and sometimes have mosquitoes during the season. There are heavy smokers (who smoke outside) sometimes and the smell does enter the restaurant which lingers awhile before it’s gone. Not sure why they are close on Sundays where there’s weekend crowd, diners do need to take note!

I ended up going for the everything tonkatsu bento (220K/$8.90) & the yujo roll (119K/$4.80).
Someone else reviewed Spring Cutlet and said there are "several other cutlet places around that sell better cutlet." In my opinion, this wasn't better. It's still good quality, and the presentation is nice. Each piece of cutlet wasn't as delicate of flavor. This one tasted more like standard cutlet.
