The food is great, authentic Korean taste. Generous portion. Decor of the place is on point, very Korean style. The problems are (1) their staff attitude especially towards local guests (2) long time to get food done. When we arrive, their 4 staff looked at us from inside behind the sliding door and just stood there, until when I indicated and one of them reluctantly sliding the door to open. It took a long time for them to give us the menu. And no one cared to show us where to sit. When we sat down, they then asked if we had reservation and asked us to move. My friend sat next to the fridge, and every time they took drinks from there they slammed the door so hard and didn’t care if it hit my friend or not. Of course we then asked them to pay attention, which they did. I noticed when groups of Koreans entered, their behaviour was totally different. The food took forever to arrive. even though we were there first before any other groups, I noticed others kept getting things before us. It’s just a soup stew and a pancake. I just don’t get it. They don’t need to be super dedicated, but I expected at least basic customer service standards. But again, food is very great. Also love the...
Read moreIf you’re not a fan of Korean sauces and flavors combined with freshly cooked seafood, you might want to consider visiting another place. But if you’re like me, an advocate for fresh seafood with 고추장, then you MUST come here. First the ambiance, it’s just like a mom-and-pop Korean shop: cute, small, and great service. As for the food, my favorite part of the meal was the fresh sashimi platter dipped in sauces, it was SOOO GOOOD. We also got the eel rice bowl, cheese corn, and seafood ramen. The seafood ramen was great, but I’d steer clear of the eel and cheese corn. The side dishes provided are also seafood-themed and our meal came with fresh clam broth, which was delicious. Overall, a great experience and I will be coming back to try more of their menu!
P.S. There’s not that much parking space out front, so careful if you’re coming in...
Read moreThe mackerel I ordered was honestly terrible — I don’t know if it wasn’t fresh or just badly prepared, but it really wasn’t good. The rice was just rice, nothing special, so I won’t judge that. The service wasn’t great either, the way I was welcomed wasn’t very impressive. On the positive side, the atmosphere inside is nice, and I believe there are some good dishes on the menu — I probably just chose the wrong one. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars.
Also, it’s way too expensive compared to other...
