Very good pizza and staff, however the management are the most insulting and unscrupulous I've ever spoken to. I was given a pasta with my pizzas, which I presumed was a complimentary item as their had been a disagreement over the phone regarding delivery fees being charged while being advertised as free on Vietnammm.com(they have called me before to notify me of delivery fees, though not with every order, sometimes it was free) I thought very highly of the business at this point as i was under the apprehension that they had addressed their miscommunication by giving a repeat customer a complimentary item. I ate some of this pasta but I do not like mushrooms, so majority of it was left when they called me around 25 minutes after the order had arrived to say there had been a mistake and could I return the pasta, not only was it cold already, but as I had eaten some of it, I said I could not return it. They then insisted that I pay for their mistake and send the driver to collect money for my barely touched unordered pasta. I refused this ridiculous offer and the manager became extremely aggressive and began shouting at me when I raised the point that not only was it poor customer service to charge me for their mistake, but to wait over 25 minutes to call me, and then expect to come and take the pasta from me and deliver it to another customer, very late, very cold and which had already been in a strangers hands. If i were the person who originally ordered the pasta and did not receive it, then received it later cold, and possibly soiled from another customer, I would be extremely shocked to discover this and would not hesitate to boycott the business in the near future. The worst thing is even though spaghetti with some mushrooms is extremely cheap to make, they are still insisting the driver pay for their mistake and using this to guilt trip me into paying for a pasta that I neither ordered, nor did anything other than pick some bits out of for curiousity. The manager was aghast when i raised these issues and decided to verbally abuse me saying how dare I speak to her like that, when I had been nothing but respectful when raising issues with their various infringements on customer service and food safety. Basically good pizza and friendly staff with an offensive and unscrupulous manager, will not...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a place that combines a luxurious atmosphere with authentic Italian-style pizza at affordable prices, then Pizza Delizia is definitely a must-try.
From the moment you walk in, the restaurant’s warm, elegant decor catches your eye. With wooden tones, soft yellow lighting, and a cozy European-inspired design, the space feels both classy and comfortable. There’s also an outdoor seating area — perfect for a date night or a casual hangout with friends.
As for the food, the pizza here is simply outstanding. The crust is perfectly baked — crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside — while the Mozzarella cheese stretches beautifully with every bite. I tried the Seafood Pizza and the BBQ Beef Pizza; both were rich in flavor and loaded with toppings. The menu also includes pasta, salads, and tiramisu, all nicely presented and full of taste.
What impressed me most was the price: only 150,000–250,000 VND (around $6–10) for a medium-sized pizza that easily serves 2–3 people. With this level of quality and atmosphere, that’s a real bargain. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling — a huge plus for the...
Read moreIf the pizza crust is the foundation of a great pizza, this restaurant desperately needs to go back to pizza school—specifically, the class on dough and fermentation. The crust was thin but impressively chewy, and not in a good way. It was already a workout for my jaw when served fresh and hot, so I can’t even imagine the nightmare of eating it cold. Honestly, I suspect you could stretch a slice from Thảo Điền to District 1 without it breaking. Tiếng Việt Nam kêu bằng “rất dai” mọi người ạ.
As for the tomato sauce, it was so scant that it felt more like a rumor than an actual ingredient, and the overpowering onion aroma made me wonder if someone had mistakenly added an entire onion patch to the recipe. Last I checked, the traditional Napoli Margherita pizza recipe (which they proudly advertise on the menu) doesn’t call for “essence of onion” as a key flavor.
Look, pizza is a beloved food worldwide, and you’re free to put your spin on it. But if you’re going to market it as traditional, at least try not to offend the entire nation of Italy. I’m no pizza purist, but even I felt the collective outrage of Italian...
