Beautiful restaurant with a charming atmosphere in District 2

We reserved this restaurant for a birthday lunch and was greeted by cute table decor. (It was my birthday and I felt very special! Hahaha) It is located in a street with many other cute places, making it convenient to walk around and discover HCMC.

The waiter was extremely helpful and accommodating, and we had no trouble communicating to him in English. He helped us pick a dish when we couldn't decide and it turned out to be delicious.

The only reason for the 4 star is the food—the flavors were amazing, but some dishes could use an improvement. The bamboo-grilled beef, for example, had amazing taste, but the meat was a little tough. The same goes for the fried rice that felt a little dry.

An Enchanting Undiscovered Treasure in Thao Dien A serene, lovely haven in the center of Thao Dien, Hidden Charm is true to its name. A lovely lantern-lit walkway greets you and leads to a quaint courtyard that combines Vietnamese and European architectural elements (also a touch of Hoianesse influence) The atmosphere is cozy, romantic, and genuinely one-of-a-kind. The food is outstanding: flavorful, authentic Vietnamese food that is obviously prepared with care. Evenings here must be made even more memorable by the addition of a small stage for live music. The service is what makes this place unique; the staff is very attentive and kind, and they make you feel very welcome. A new hidden gem in Thao Dien. As the name imply, this new restaurant is hidden in the corner of Thao Dien. Entrance is a small passage way that eventually open up to the restaurant. Very nice cozy place with lanterns as decoration.
