My wife and I come here a few times a month so I feel we’ve gone enough to see what is good and what may need some improvement.
Generally the service is fine, minus a few things discussed below, so there isn’t a worry there. We love coming here so that is why we want to make our issues known to hopefully improve ours/everyone’s experience.
Throughout the times we’ve gone, we have consistently encountered these issues
Ordering issues
More specially, ordering multiple quantity of a single item at a time and only receiving 1 serving. I can understand that there may be waste if too much is ordered but the portions that come in a single serving are already small and the dishes sometimes takes quite a while to actually arrive at the table. We end up waiting long to get the same dishes over and over even after requesting multiple portions at a time to avoid this. The times that we go at are not extremely busy and yet it takes a good amount of time sometimes to bring out a new serving of meat. I can’t imagine how it would be during a busy hour.
Service inconsistencies
The servers are not very coordinated and focused on a single task. I find this the most frustrating when it comes to servers grilling for us. Sometimes they are grilling, sometimes they are taking orders at other tables, and sometimes they are running around doing other various tasks. This in itself is not a problem, but I do think it would be better to inform and also give customers an option on whether or not they need their server to be grilling for you or not. I think this is really one of the main sources of the service frustrations I experience just due to the fact that if they are grilling for a single table, they are not focused on their other tables and so you have to wave around and find someone else to help you.
Personally, I find grilling it myself is part of the experience and would prefer to do it that way. But I am not very good at speaking vietnamese and so it is kind of difficult to communicate this to the servers and they also seem to insist to do it for us. If the policy for the restaurant is for the servers to grill for us, then I understand, but if not, I would like it better if there was a choice and if we were asked beforehand to avoid any awkward confrontation after they already begin doing so. It’s also frustrating when they are grilling and not bringing out our orders/putting the order in. I’ve had many instances where we just run out of meat and are sitting there waiting for another order to come out. This is why I would just prefer for our servers to focus on just doing one thing well, which is making sure our table is stocked and we have everything we need.
This also leads into another aspect, which is just privacy for us as a customer. Sometimes I would like to talk with my wife while we eat but it is very weird for us to talk with someone else just standing right in front of us and maybe listening. It seems like lots of couples and groups come here to eat so I’m not sure why this isn’t really discussed or asked before being seated.
Again, some people may prefer the extra help, and some may not. I believe giving the option to choose before sitting down helps establish a clear expectation of what will be done so that it doesn’t feel like such a scramble when us as customers need something.
Beef rib quality issue
The meats used are great as well with the exception of the beef ribs that are always 90% bone and 10% meat. We get the highest tier menu specifically for this item and each time we receive the plate, it’s just bone and no meat. This is on top of the fact that it already comes as a tiny portion. If we are paying for the highest tier menu, I would hope that there would be more than just a piece of bone served to us each time.

Other than these issues, the quality of everything else is great and has improved. They have recently switched over to stainless steel grill tops instead of the non stick, which I love.
Thank you management for any considerations...
Read moreYou must be extremely unlucky and pathetic to be a regular here. I went once with a group of five for a birthday dinner (we had booked the table two weeks in advance). We were excited to try the food here because we believed the positive reviews.
But just one minute after sitting down — before we even had a chance to order — the waitress “welcomed” us by saying, “YOU MUST FINISH YOUR FOOD WITHIN 2 HOURS.” I was shocked and thought I had misheard her, so I asked her to clarify what she meant by “finish the food within 2 hours.” She rephrased it as, “YOU MUST FINISH YOUR MEAL AND LEAVE THE RESTAURANT BY 7 PM.” I asked to speak with the manager, assuming maybe it was the waitress’s first day. But to my surprise, the manager confirmed that what she said was true — they were “very busy,” so we had to leave by 7 PM. It was only 5 PM on a weekday evening, with terrible weather (it had been raining all day). There were just our group and one other table in the entire restaurant. We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. And hey, we understand the two-hour policy — but in a buffet, that rule should apply only to ordering new dishes, not to eating, talking, or drinking. Do you mean we have to eat, drink, and talk all within two hours, while you barely have any customers? What the hell?
Unfortunately, because of the heavy rain, we had no choice but to stay and eat. The whole dinner was a terrible experience — the worst customer service I’ve ever had — and the food wasn’t even good enough to justify being treated like beggars. Hey, we do pay, okay? If the food had at least been good, maybe it could have made up for their awful attitude. But no — both the service and the food were downright terrible. We even ordered the most expensive buffet package, and hilariously, many items were “sold out” — at 5 PM, on a weekday night?
After posting this review, I finally understood why we were treated that way: most of the good reviews came from foreigners, not local Vietnamese. That’s probably why the Korean owner trained her staff to treat locals poorly. I’ve been to Korea several times, and I understand how privileged some Koreans think they are compared to other East Asians — but you’re doing business in my...

We called to book table prior to come in. The staff on the phone was having a professional manner. We came for a lunch buffet for 2 people at around 1.30pm. There wasn’t really busy as lunch time about to finish.
Pros: Atmosphere: cozy, very ‘Korean’. Exactly how you would expect to go Kbbq in Korea. Friendly space and good vibe. Pricing: super reasonable. Different buffet sets to select. Variety of meat, side dish and banchan!!! I would say it’s worth it, the food quality, the service. Everything!!!! Also there is time limit for buffet. Please check with staff on this.
Staff: very well trained, friendly and polite. Every single questions raised up had been answered immediately. Also staffs are spot on for problem solving. On that day, the fan where we sitting was not working and it was getting too warm. I asked the staff if they could have any alternative for the situation. YES!!! Anh Đạt was very quick. He suggested us to have the fan underneath our table and problem solved!!✅ YOU CHILL, WE GRILL!! We were so satisfied with the service. The staff grilled the meat just on point. It was so good. All we had to do was just sit there and enjoy the delicious fresh cooked meat melting in our mouth. That was the best part.
Food: amazing!!!! We got our beef soup, teokbokki, heaps of banchan. As soon as you finish something. Staffs will politely ask if you would like more meat in particular and when do you want it. Banchan and lettuce filled up constantly. Amazing!
Overall, that was an excellent experience for us here. I would like to thank all the staffs for all of your hard work. Your service really brings up the face of the business. I hope your boss treat you well! Seriously!!!😇
Cons: The air ventilator didn’t work well mid time, so it didn’t suck the smoke up. It was pretty smoky and our eyes were burning. That wasn’t comfortable. Besides that, it was all pleasant!
Definitely will come back!
