Came here as I have seen the rave reviews and all the 5 stars so was very curious. Immediate impressions were not great as the waiting staff took forever to get us, a couple, a seat despite the place half empty..... bit headless......but eventually we got a seat.... The staff all have head phones and all the techie stuff which seems to cause more confusion than anything else........keep it simple lads, simple, tut tut, otherwise you look real foolish. Before we sat down we were also told in no uncertain terms that there was a time limit of 2 hours......which was nice, considering the only delays were with the staff finding us a seat, giving us the menu, and brining us our food...... A nice welcome indeed! Sheesh! Anyway, we sat down and ordered a lot of meat and some vegetables - don't ask me what exactly we ordered, but it was mostly beef, the odd sausage, some bacon rashers, and other assortments of meat - hell its a BBQ so lets all go crazy! There was the odd bit of veg to accompany, and even a small bit of cheese, which was very random. It was all good and very delicious, and watered down with some beer......all in all good food and well presented and damn tasty. The food was excellent, tasty and the variety of dishes was interesting to see. and .the price coming to about 35 quid was ok. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly and the atmosphere was ok, even though its a big place it does feel crowded..they could do with a spring cleaning and get rid of the tat and give the customers more space. Food was very good, but i have had better BBQs - (the Japanese place I reviewed to name but a few) I drop a mark for the service which left a bit of a sour taste. ....one word: clueless. edit: i notice they seem to have an awful lot of 5 star reviews from people who have only ever given one review..........cough....very interesting!

My wife and I come here a few times a month so I feel we’ve gone enough to see what is good and what may need some improvement. Generally the service is fine, minus a few things discussed below, so there isn’t a worry there. We love coming here so that is why we want to make our issues known to hopefully improve ours/everyone’s experience. Throughout the times we’ve gone, we have consistently encountered these issues 1. Ordering issues More specially, ordering multiple quantity of a single item at a time and only receiving 1 serving. I can understand that there may be waste if too much is ordered but the portions that come in a single serving are already small and the dishes sometimes takes quite a while to actually arrive at the table. We end up waiting long to get the same dishes over and over even after requesting multiple portions at a time to avoid this. The times that we go at are not extremely busy and yet it takes a good amount of time sometimes to bring out a new serving of meat. I can’t imagine how it would be during a busy hour. 2. Service inconsistencies The servers are not very coordinated and focused on a single task. I find this the most frustrating when it comes to servers grilling for us. Sometimes they are grilling, sometimes they are taking orders at other tables, and sometimes they are running around doing other various tasks. This in itself is not a problem, but I do think it would be better to inform and also give customers an option on whether or not they need their server to be grilling for you or not. I think this is really one of the main sources of the service frustrations I experience just due to the fact that if they are grilling for a single table, they are not focused on their other tables and so you have to wave around and find someone else to help you. Personally, I find grilling it myself is part of the experience and would prefer to do it that way. But I am not very good at speaking vietnamese and so it is kind of difficult to communicate this to the servers and they also seem to insist to do it for us. If the policy for the restaurant is for the servers to grill for us, then I understand, but if not, I would like it better if there was a choice and if we were asked beforehand to avoid any awkward confrontation after they already begin doing so. It’s also frustrating when they are grilling and not bringing out our orders/putting the order in. I’ve had many instances where we just run out of meat and are sitting there waiting for another order to come out. This is why I would just prefer for our servers to focus on just doing one thing well, which is making sure our table is stocked and we have everything we need. This also leads into another aspect, which is just privacy for us as a customer. Sometimes I would like to talk with my wife while we eat but it is very weird for us to talk with someone else just standing right in front of us and maybe listening. It seems like lots of couples and groups come here to eat so I’m not sure why this isn’t really discussed or asked before being seated. Again, some people may prefer the extra help, and some may not. I believe giving the option to choose before sitting down helps establish a clear expectation of what will be done so that it doesn’t feel like such a scramble when us as customers need something. 3. Beef rib quality issue The meats used are great as well with the exception of the beef ribs that are always 90% bone and 10% meat. We get the highest tier menu specifically for this item and each time we receive the plate, it’s just bone and no meat. This is on top of the fact that it already comes as a tiny portion. If we are paying for the highest tier menu, I would hope that there would be more than just a piece of bone served to us each time. —— Other than these issues, the quality of everything else is great and has improved. They have recently switched over to stainless steel grill tops instead of the non stick, which I love. Thank you management for any considerations toward this.

Food has normal quality but the service and the staffs' attitude are worst We already knew 2hrs eating rule, it doesn't matter since many restaurants have the same rule However, when we ordered, food was served extremely slow, even need to recheck 3,4 times to have what we just ordered Every single time we asked for the order, they said the restaurant has bunches of people so it was slow Then, not even 2hrs, we ordered fried rice and hotpot, the staff just came and said we passed 2hrs and they cannot serve our order (it was 8:50 when we started dinner around 7:15). When we try to share because of your unprofessional service, we don't have the order we supposed to have. She said "I'm new staff here, my manager said so" Then, someone who is called manager came and asked us "What is the time that they serve our meal?" with a rude voice and attitude, it blew my mind, such a good 5 stars review restaurant To be honest, your price is not worth at all with your service and food. You can check your camera to see how much we got from our order (not even 1 round of order), and how you handle clients feedback At the end we don't eat their fried rice and hotpot of course. Additionally, the coupon they gave, I don't need it since I never come back and will let my connection know how bad my experience was today *check my picture to see how long we did eat at your place ;) They checked in us at 7pm when we hadn't started the dinner lol

Quite a good place for BBQ but I realised some points which might be good or bad. Firstly, we are served a small portion of everything in the menu. It might be good if we want to try everything, but sometimes we only want to eat certain type of meat. Also when taking out all the meat, do you throw the meat away if we don’t finish? Or do you serve to other customers? Would it be better to take out when we want it to be more fresh? Secondly, there is a server that will help to cook for you, it’s good if you’re just wanting your food to be served to you. For me, I prefer to cook myself to ensure that the food is cooked to my liking and properly handling the meat. I realised that my handler use the same tongs to take the raw meat and also the cooked meat. Please take note of food safety to use different tongs. Also regarding the different buffet menu, since the meat are all taken out we don’t know what is the difference between the normal and premium menu. Although after all the food if you’re still hungry you can choose which option you want more. It is a good place for bigger groups and also make sure to take note of food safety. Overall it’s worth a try.

Food overall was okay. Corn cheese however got a bit sour aftertaste for the second refill. Staffs forget to bring my order several times and proceeds to close the bbq. While other tables got staffs taken care well, mine was almost left abandoned to the point that my meat got burnt (the picture below was taken right after the staff removed the most burnt pieces away from the table when the manager was around). I was confused either I should take care of my food by myself or let the staff handle it. From what I observed, the foreigner (Korean) customer’s table nearby always has a staff, not one but several staffs took turn to take care. Meanwhile I arrived before many tables, the preparation process (the bbq, food) came later than others for 15 minutes, and yet even forgot to bring some of my orders. Maybe because we chose the lowest menu (Dinner buffet menu) so we got worst treatment? The staff who handled the call to order table gave off negative energy. The price isn’t worth it. An interesting experience but would NOT return.
