Ciao Vợ Đẹp — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

The food is something that throws me off when rating this. Despite great place, friendly staff and good service. The taste of the food is not great. I order the beef steak with red wine sauce and when I told them Medium Rare they ask: "What percentage is that?" and they recommend 40% and so I agree cause I don't know what percentage is Medium Rare. When they present the food after 20-30 minutes I review it: Salad: Great, variety and taste fresh French fires: To be honest, McDonald's fry is better than this. They didn't cut it evenly so some are crispy but most of it is just soggy and tastes unhappy. Steak: I order Medium Rare but they present it what I can presume is Rare and almost Raw through cause the inside was all red and very hard to cut through with the knife or my teeth. In conclusion, for 30 minutes I spend waiting for this meal is not worth it at all. But I give one more star for the service...

Been eating at this restaurant for 4 years. This restaurant is a hide gem on a small street in District 1. My girlfriend and I really love the tuna salad and the steak here. We enjoyed the food everytime we got here. Beside of the food we also concern about the service when we decide to go to a restaurant. The service is great especially the waitress whose name is Ngoan. She is very attentive and always puts a smile on her face that makes us feel comfortable. One litlle thing would be better if you could bring the main dish after we had finished the starter instead of serving everything together at once. It would be nothing to complain. Overall, this restaurant is decent place to go....
