Missing Garden Cafe — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I came here at 6.30am - awfully early for any Saigoneers who's not a student. I had been the only client for more than an hour before someone else arrived. Even though I was the only one there, the staff members were incredibly attentive to me. For instance, I tend to be very expressive with my hands while talking on the phone; while I was talking on the phone, the staff members thought I was drawing their attention 😂

They're also very helpful: when I called them to reserve a good spot since I'll be there for awhile in the morning, they were more than happy to assist me.

Needless to say, the ambiance was nice and the garden flawless. Truly a recommended place for people to get their work done at.

P.s. Probably I'm too old and picky with music (25) but I'd suggest a more classical-oriented playlist for this kind of space - very artsy and sophisticated - as opposed to pop Vietnamese lofi music. Nonetheless, if you're into that kind of music, you're at the right place; just don't approach me because your taste in music...

The coffee shop offers a satisfying and diverse menu of beverages. I ordered a cup of black coffee, which was 12 oz (~ 300 ml) - a large size that gave me a strong caffeine boost 😝. The coffee was rich and aromatic, and I savored every sip. The shop also has a variety of seating options, depending on your mood and preference. You can sit inside, where there is a quiet book reading room with a big table and electric sockets. This is ideal for working or studying, or even holding a meeting. Alternatively, you can enjoy the fresh air and greenery in the garden outside, which is shaded by plants and trees. This is perfect for relaxing or chatting with friends. The cafe is repurposed from Mr. Le Ba Dang's former house, so it has quite beautiful architecture. The small garden is a bit sheltered from the wind, making it quite stuffy and hot in the summer. The drink menu isn't very diverse but is decent, with prices starting from 49k per glass.
