P's Coffee at The Metropole — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

It's a pretty sizable place; at least 2 floors of seating. The furniture is clean and comfortable enough.

The chicken sandwich (P's Sandwich, 150K/$5.95) was a little on the small side. Neither the egg nor the bacon seemed freshly made. There was a little bit of mayo. Lightly toasted bread. The taste was ok, but I wouldn't recommend it. The French Fries were standard fries, but they also didn't quite taste as good as fries normally taste to me.

The Cocoa Ice Blended (75K/$2.95) isn't something I normally get, but tried it here; upper-mid price range. It tasted like it should. Decent size. It's okay. I would have gone for a coffee, but it was a little later in the day than I'd normally drink coffee.

Came around noon and ordered a sparkling water, banh mi thit kho, and a chicken salad.

I get that it’s rush hour, but my first dish took 20 minutes which is not a problem.

but my chicken salad? 50 minutes. Almost a full HOUR.

Had to ask the staff to check on my food multiple times.

Not a single apology. No explanation. Nothing.

Never coming back. Absolute joke...

A really nice, pleasant and relaxing cafe to have a nice meal and great coffee with friends, colleagues and family. One of my favourite cafes to go to at District 2 serving great coffee, cakes and all day meals. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their food is freshly prepared with good ingredients and their beverages & coffees are nice. Recommended...
