Starbucks – The Waterfront Saigon​ — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I ordered a Green Tea Cream (tall size) and an Espresso Custard Roll at Starbucks Waterfront and paid VND 162,000 using my ACB VISA card. However, when my name was called, I only received the drink.

I immediately informed the staff that the pastry was missing. One of the baristas checked with the kitchen and told me it was still being prepared. I waited for another 5–10 minutes, but the pastry never arrived. Unfortunately, I had to leave due to an early meeting, so I left without receiving the full order I had paid for.

This was a disappointing experience, especially from a global brand like Starbucks, where I expect consistent service. I hope the store will review its order-handling process to avoid similar issues...

I didn’t expect to see egrets flying over the river right in front of the shop—such a beautiful and peaceful sight! The big glass wall gives a great view of the water. The only downside is that the late morning sun can be pretty strong through the glass, so it might feel a bit too bright for those who aren’t big fans of sunlight.
