Ben Bach Dang — Attraction in Ho Chi Minh City

So sad to share recently, maybe just starting some days ago from today, the left side of Bach Dang Wharf, where the old missile and bus station is or the side going to Bason Brige, has been invaded by a group of people whom we believed look like "mafia" vendors. We feel very unsafe to pass here with our children from now on. On the previous night when we walked here, several men were unusually eager to ask us to buy drinks from them, but we refused and continued to walk toward Bach Dang Wharf. Tonight again when we passed there, 2 women asked us to buy drinks ftom them with loud voice, more like to threaten us to buy their drinks... very unsafe here honestly. They put many small chairs consuming the green grass area too. Not sure who or what authority allow these mafia sellers to operate and invade the public area here... I believe the normal vendor cannot do this "openedly threatening style" of selling like these vendors. I hope the Bach Dang Wharf management or local government will take action to protect the safety of citizens when passing here and the public grass area will be used for everyone at night time, not just being invaded by these mafia vendors. Please someone who has authority take action and bring back the nice, lovely Bach Dang Wharf....

Recently visited Saigon River for the first time and got the opportunity to go sightseeing there. First, there are two services, Watergo and Waterbus, which are pretty self explanatory. Watergo is more suitable for those who want to see the surrounding of Saigon River (typically during sunset and night time), which are now adorned with beautiful skyscrapers, modern buildings, all are beautifully lighted against the backdrop of a golden sunset.
