Alternatives for Shisha in Saigon:
Blanchy’s (right around the corner on Hai Ba Trung). Open to properly servicing customers.
Shiraz on Dong Khoi just past the Reverie. Really a specialty Shisha place with very good and caring service.
Onwards to my professional assessment of Pasha:
Entitled and not anything better than mediocre. They don’t care about social distancing either during COVID so you should consider this.
Terrible mindset. Ordered Shisha. Ordered water.
Minutes later staff came to me and said sorry, kitchen closed. We didn’t realize you ordered Shisha. Sorry the staff didn’t understand but here’s your bill, we are closing.
Wait. Wut. Ok. WTF? Then don’t want the bottle of water, mate. Deal with it. It isn’t Romanée Conti.
Staff insisted I pay for the water.. I said talk to the boss, gave them my card. They should comp my beverage for the inconvenience of not wanting to serve me.
Staff member ripped up my business card in front of me.
Really? So you don’t want to get the money and you don’t care about customers.
Why would I ever come back?
Why does Vietnam host foreign bottom feeder idiots like this? What a mentality....
Read moreWe were a group of 9 friends from Pakistan and went to Pasha Restaurant for dinner and shisha during our visit to Ho Chi Minh City. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant offers pure halal food and seems to be Turkish-owned, which reflects in the authentic flavors and welcoming hospitality.
We ordered a variety of dishes including a platter and several other items, and everything was served fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The food quality was excellent, and we were all very satisfied with the variety and taste.
We also tried the shisha, which was decent but quite average compared to the food — still enjoyable but could be improved. The total bill came to around 6 million VND for 9 people, which we found reasonable given the quality and quantity of food.
The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the place is perfect for groups looking to enjoy halal Turkish cuisine in a relaxed setting.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic halal food and a good dining experience in Ho Chi Minh. Will...
Read moreRather disappointed after visiting this restaurant today...
Place looks awesome, there is a very relaxing vibe, but is ruined by loud pop music for some reason... It kind of takes away the charm.
I know they have some amazing dishes, but the kebab platter for 2 was a quite expensive disappointment. The portion size was good, but it was so dry... There was a little bit of sauce on a part of the platter, but nothing for the fries and meat. We had to pay 30.000 for some dip... I almost wanted to get up and leave, this dish costed 500.000 VND...
Also, I get that it's partly a shisha bar, but it's kind of annoying to have someone sit next to you smoking like a steam engine in the middle of dinner. We moved seats to the middle of the restaurant, only to have someone come sit next to us and start smoking. I'd kind of think that it's more respectful towards other people to smoke shisha at the entrance of the restaurant, where there is a lot more circulation...
The people who work there are very nice, but I don't think I'll be...
