A Truly Exceptional Pizza Experience

I’ve had pizza in several places all over the world — from New York to Italy — and I can confidently say that Pizza 4P’s in Ho Chi Minh City has served me the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. The entire experience was amazing, from the food to the service and atmosphere.

The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, with a beautiful interior that features a pizza oven-inspired design. The open kitchen gives you a live cooking experience, and it was clear that every team member genuinely cares about their craft. The pizzas were made with thoughtfulness and precision — you could taste the love in every bite.

Service was truly outstanding. The staff were extremely attentive and considerate — they asked about food preferences (vegetarian, allergies, etc.), helped with bags, and managed waiting times very professionally. We had a slightly longer wait than usual, and the team went above and beyond by offering complimentary water, fresh bread, and even ice cream as an apology — a gesture that wasn’t necessary but deeply appreciated.

Ordering was smooth and flexible, either through a QR code or directly with the staff, all of whom spoke excellent English. It’s clear that customer comfort and satisfaction are a top priority here.

I’ve visited many 4P’s branches, and usually the service is quite good. However, my recent experience at the Vincom 3/2 branch was extremely disappointing. Last month, I dined at this branch and paid by credit card. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my card at the restaurant. I believe that if a guest forgets something so important, the staff should take responsibility to contact the guest and return it. However, I never received any contact. I assumed I must have lost the card elsewhere. It was a difficult and time-consuming process to request a new card from my bank. Then, out of hope, I contacted 4P’s again—and to my shock, they had been holding my card for almost a month without informing me! I raised the issue with the manager, and their explanation was very disappointing. They said they tried to call my reservation number, but the line was busy or unreachable. No second attempt, no voicemail, no message, no email—for an entire month. This is unacceptable for a service-oriented brand. I'm extremely disappointed with how poorly this was handled. I expected better communication and responsibility from this branch. I want to remind everyone: please double-check your belongings before leaving the restaurant—don’t expect this branch to help if you forget...

Ambiance and service was absolutely impeccable. Food was OK.

My favourite bite was the Salmon Mozzarella Sushi because it was playful and had fun flavours.

I had high expectations for the Crab Spaghetti, but it was clearly made from boxed pasta, was unfortunately bland upon first bite, and desperately needed extra seasoning. Thankfully there was chili oil, salt and pepper at the table to bring it up to a better level.

Re Pizza, I love that you can order 1/2 and 1/2. The burrata itself was the best I’ve ever had, and the first bite of the Burrata Parma Ham was nice and crispy, but the Spicy Seafood half was unfortunately soggy. I also wish the pizza was served after we finish the pasta so that we could have enjoyed it hot instead of cold. The service was so fast and attentive that if anything, it could have slowed down a bit for better pacing of each plate, but that’s just my personal preference.

Overall, I can see why this place is a hit for locals, but as someone coming from North America where incredible pizza and pasta are abundant, the food was not as remarkable as what I can access at home.
