I have been to the Orient a few times now and have found the service and food to be excent. It is very close to the main area of Thao Dien and an easy walk from all of the main apartment blocks. I lived in Masteri tower 1. I really love their burgers, but can't stay away from the TexMex dishes also. I went with a group recently and we got a selection of pizzas. Thin crust and done perfectly. I don't think I saw anything pre processed in any meal that I had except for the tomato and chili sause. The host told me everything is made fresh on site. There is plenty of bike parking out front, but I think the best part for me is the outstanding music selection that is generally playing. Great variety of old and new and played at a level that you can enjoy it without having to raise your voice or struggle to hear what the other person is saying. As for the drinks, I don't know as I don't drink, but it's nice to sit and have a soda and chat with the regulars. Also family friendly and my 4 year old son loved the food also. I wish I had tried the lamb burger.
The fish sandwich was still ok. The size was great. It was a little crispy fried instead of flaky batter. The taste just was fishy, and the tartar sauce was thousand island. I think it was a quality fish sandwich, but I didn't care for it.
50K/$1.95 for a can of soda (the same is 13K at GS right by it).
Surprisingly, there is no VAT or service fee.
A bit dark inside, and I felt a little cramped...

After payment, the bill is not shown with your change, so it's best to check the bill before asking to pay. If there are other Asian customers, then you'll have to wait to pay bill while staff have "nice conversation" with those customers. The western (white guy) manager is bad mouthed towards clients. Popular place most evenings. Pool table. 2 large sports TV screens without sound. Non intrusive background music. 3 or 4 small tables...
