During our holiday in Ho Chi Minh, my friends and I stumbled upon this gem of a cocktail bar The Enigma Mansion, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience. Located conveniently close to where we were staying, we were drawn in by the recommendation of a renowned mixologist at the helm.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a wonderfully chill ambiance, complemented perfectly by the soulful tunes filling the air. The extensive cocktail menu was a delightful surprise, offering a wide array of tantalising concoctions to choose from. And let's not forget about the finger food – the selection was so enticing that we found ourselves spoiled for choice. I must give a special shout-out to the chicken cartilage and tofu, absolute must-tries that had us ordering seconds without hesitation.

When it came to selecting our drinks, the service staff went above and beyond, expertly guiding us through the menu and recommending some standout options according to our individual taste buds and preferences. Their knowledge and attention to detail truly elevated our experience, making us feel valued and well taken care of.

Had an enjoyable first visit last night.

To be honest, wasn’t the best of starts to my experience. Was made to stand by the roadside whilst their host verified my reservation was noted and they were ready to receive me and a friend. It took 2-3 mins and it wasn’t a fun experience standing by a busy road.

Still, once guided in, all is forgiven.

A beautiful place with great ambience. Just dim enough to give a warm and cosy vibe without being dark. A chain of friendly staff hand you off from one to another to ensure you are guided all the way to your seats.

The mixologist then guides you through the house concepts and themes. Well explained. The cocktails were very good and innovative. Quite an extensive offering of the classics. My companion had a Bloody Mary which sadly, seems out of fashion, and hence difficult to find these days.

The mixologist was knowledgeable and offered just the right amount of banter.

We came to this bar planning to hop to at least one more that night… but ended up staying for 5–6 hours. It all started with a free welcome drink, guava sake – absolutely delicious! Then the (very handsome) bartender walked us through the menu, explained all the drink categories and their happy hours, and honestly, after that, we wanted to try everything.

We kicked things off with the signature cocktails, and each one kept us hooked. We ended up having 5–6 drinks each (and of course tried each other’s too). I seriously loved 4–5 of them — only one wasn’t quite my taste. They aren’t trying to impress you with the presentation — their cocktails speak for themselves

The vibe is just spot on. It’s got that stylish speakeasy feel but still feels super friendly and easygoing. The bartenders? Absolute sweethearts. All in all, an amazing experience. This place earned its awards...
