I’ll never come back. The food was solala. The risotto rice was still hard, and too salty. But the service was terrible. We ordered a watermelon juice and a coke zero. After 15-20 minutes we hadn’t received any drinks yet, so we asked again and they brought one coke. We asked where the juice is, and only then they said they ran out of juice already (shouldn’t they have informed us proactively?). We took another coke instead. But in the end on the bill they still charged the juice (which is more expensive then coke, of course!). And for the food, we had to wait at least 45 minutes for the first dish to arrive, and only after asking twice where our food is. A waitress came and said that it would take longer to cook the pasta, so they’ll bring the pizza first. Then we waited, and waited, and finally the first dish arrived, which is now the pasta (!). It rained heavily that day, so when we came out of the restaurant we had to stand at the restaurant’s gate to wait for the rain to stop. Usually for a restaurant at this price the guard will usually have an umbrella to help the guests go to where they park their bikes/cars. But no. A waitress stand right there behind us, but she just didn’t care to offer. Overall the service staff didn’t really care about the customers. And the food wasn’t that wow for us to come back again. The pizza was okay,...
Read moreThird time coming in a year, hoping we would like the food (and high expectations in view of the rating and comments) but unfortunately we did not, not a single part of the meal was worth the final bill.
Starter: Carpaccio - too salty and why accompany it with pieces of pizza bread, there are so many other types of Italian breads more interesting. Scallop - felt like a frozen dish put in an oven with a piece of cheese on top and a bit of parsley for freshness. I like the effort to have variety in the starter section but fell short of expectations.
Main: I overall wished the quantities were smaller but with higher quality ingredients and better cooking technique.
Red wine Risotto - rice itself was good, but no taste. It was a very uninteresting flavour.
Slow cooked lamb - I was surprised how most pieces could be so dry, slow could meat should be very tender. Here again no flavour.
Dessert:
We both my partner and I love tiramisu, and hoped this would level up the meal. Unfortunately we didn't even finish it as it was too sweet.
Additionally we had 4 glasses of wine...
Read moreCame here for date night with my boyfriend and had such a lovely time. We sat upstairs with a view of the downstairs and between the twinkling lights and light rain bouncing off the roof, it felt very cozy and romantic.
We ordered the diavola and rustica pizza and both were delicious. We really enjoyed how authentic this pizza is - my boyfriend swears it’s just like the pizza he had in Naples, Italy and says this is the best pizza spot in Vietnam. We also shared the tiramisu at the end and that was very lovely.
I want to really commend this place on their staff. Every person we encountered was SO attentive and nice - from the parking attendant, to the host, to the several servers we interacted with. Genuinely some of the best service we’ve ever received in Vietnam.
Amazing date night spot with amazing staff and...
