Altitude Rooftop Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

Dreadful! Visited on 14.4.2017. The 28-storey Sheraton Hotel, the rooftop bar, is the tallest in the resort, on the beautiful beach promenade in Nha Trang. Arrived there, everything looks quite nice, the view is indeed terrific! If one looks more closely, unfortunately, one sees enormous wear phenomena, e.g. Patched sofas, as from bulky waste. The friendly service appears (not too fast), we order water and 2 glass of wine. The prices are high, about a third above the local. The place is almost empty, but the service lasts long. In the meantime, we can admire a neighboring rooftop bar that is much higher. When the water finally comes, we ask for the wine. Yes, it would take very long, says the lady. Because it must be fetched from the first floor. Schilda sends greetings. Later, I pay with credit card, PIN input, ok, the waitress disappears with the device. After a long time she comes back and says the payment would not have worked, I should give her another credit card. Is this a stupid attempt at fraud or just stupidity? The lady goes back. After a long wait I go to checkout. Unfortunately the English skills of the employees are not enough for the required conversation. But I see exactly the opposite and ask the manager to speak. After a long time nothing happens, I give the lady my business card and go to the lift. At the last minute a Sheraton employee jumps into the tiny lift / which is attracted like a luggage carrier. Then it turns out that he is the manager on duty, a Mr. Phan. But he can not get enough English, he is not even able to imagine, he does not know the situation and can not understand what he really wants. He has my business card and asks me if she is from me. More does not come out in the dialogue. I leave the hotel and will certainly not return. Conclusion: There is a serious management problem. Because so much unprofessionalism at once can not be due to coincidence. One can only hope that the new owners (Marriott) will find better managers. The next day, I will be contacted by Mr. Ha Hai / F & B, who, having shown him the draft of this comment, apologizes and offers to cancel the bill and to pay a bottle of wine. Don’t skip Altitude, which is on floor 28 of the Sheraton. Coming in from the Tran Phu entrance, there is an express elevator that’ll take you straight up to the bar and you’ll be immediately greeted by the nicest staff. They have an expansive drink menu, featuring very thoughtful and delicious cocktails, various beers, and a really great wine menu.

My husband and I came here just for drinks, as we had visited the bar many times over 12 years ago when we lived here. It was so nice to come back and admire the changed night skyline. We had a lovely server, Vỹ/Liam, who delighted us with his stellar customer service. We also had a lovely hostess (whose name I didn’t catch) and the manager, Ricky, both of whom were very friendly and kind.

You’ll have close to Western-style prices, but still reasonable, with drinks made with quality ingredients. For two canned Saigon beers, a piña colada, a glass of white wine, and an old-fashioned, it came to just about...

Great night drinking cocktails. The staff were very attentive.. hana was our server, when we got low on drinks she came over quickly to see if we wanted more. She was super fast, friendly, smiley and very attentive!!! Cocktails were great!! Between the two of us we had 8 cocktails during happy hour (5-7pm) and it cost 750,000 VND, that's including taxes. We tried gin martini, tequila sunrise, John collins, margarita and long island iced tea (last two were our fave but all were great quailty) They give you free nuts with almost every round. When it rained the staff came over quickly to take your drinks inside, then dried the seats and tables once rain past. Toilets were super clean. There's plenty of outside space and sheltered space. We arrived about 5.30pm and it wasn't very busy, plenty of seating. By the time we left, 8pm ish it was more busy but not crowded. Would highly recommend you...
