Not a positive experience. My wife and I just moved to Nha Trang from DaLat. We love sushi so we decided to try this restaurant. The waitresses here where rude and obnoxious. Ordering coke light in any restaurant is as easy as saying Coca-light... The waitresses pretended she didn't know what I was saying. Then when we finished our sashimi, they left all of the used plates on the table.... They thought this was funny as they walked by looking at it and laughing. I had to clean my own table.
Why is this? I've been to hundreds of restaurants in every part of the civilzed world and NEVER had service as terrible as this. I spent nearly a million dong, which isn't allot of money... But I receive better treatment at fast food restaurants where I spend much less. I left angry and my wife (Who's Vietnamese) was embarrassed, she had to apologise for their behavior.
I don't go to your establishment to pay for attitude or poor service, based on my ethnicity? Being mixed race couple?
Professional service isn't difficult. People come to your restaurant for food, conversation and to enjoy themselves, pay then leave.. Not for a poor attitude and poor service.
I could have burned that money in the street and enjoyed myself more.
On the positive side, the food was good, exactly what I expected. I just wish I'd eaten it...
Read moreThe sushi on its own stands really well. Tuna and salmon are fresh and attention to detail with food presentation is excellent. Service time is also fast and value for money is good, if a bit on the pricier side. I'd have given the place a 4 star if the service didn't let down so much. I'd forgive language barrier issues straight away because I don't think of the lack of it being a prerequisite to good service, however senior staff failed to notice one of the waiters struggling to cope and replacing her, despite the fact that many others could communicate better with our table. Empty dish pickups had to be asked for, staff abruptly leave halfway through an order and napkins are nowhere to be seen. Even communication with pictures or pointing at the Vietnamese names of food proved frustrating. Bizarrely enough, my beer glass came with a large block of ice in it, which transcends any communication issue and demonstrates a complete lack of care. It's a shame the lovely food is let down by...
Read moreI visited this restaurant two days ago to celebrate my bf birthday. We ordered a salad, two portions of sushi rolls, a steamed egg and a miso soup.
Being a new establishment, the space was quite spacious, but the staff seemed too few for the size of the restaurant.
I hope this isn’t related to the quality of the food, but both of us have been experiencing stomach aches since the meal until now. We’re relieved we didn’t order sashimi; however, the sushi rolls did contain raw fish.
The salad was quite tasty, and the miso soup and steamed egg were decent. As for the sushi rolls, there was way too much sauce on the plate, soaking the bottom of the rolls and overpowering the taste of the fish. As mentioned, we both suffered from stomach aches, with mine being more severe, likely because my sushi roll had more raw fish.
I hope the restaurant will work on improving their service style and the quality of...
