Let me preface this by saying I absolutely love finding hidden gems on trips, and Đức Trọc Quán had great potential. The vibe was exactly what I was looking for - a local spot, no frills, just good eats. And don't get me wrong, the food portions were generous, and the prices were fantastic.

But something just fell flat for me. Maybe it was an "off" night, or maybe my expectations were a bit high based on the reviews. Delicious! You have to stop by here if you come To Ninh Binh proper. The little sausage sticks are small but delicious! We paid 5K a stick, best bargain ever. The bahn mi is the way to go though.
