Last night, I was strolling under the persistent rain in downtown Ninh Binh. I stumbled into Tutu Cafe (simple but cozy). I wasn't impressed at first. I ordered the Bac Xiu coffee. I found myself a seat next to the bookshelf and tried to read a Vietnamese book using Google Translate. unfortunately this place wasn’t what I was expecting from the reviews.

I ordered a black coffee and it had a strong vanilla flavour. If you’re looking for Espresso coffee unfortunately this place only brews coffee using Vietnamese Phin style.

On the whole the cafe was dusty and dirty, on the plus the staff were friendly...

Love this place. Decorated beautifully - looks like a tumblr/instagram photo. Few different areas to sit, full menu and it's in a quiet location. I ordered a coffee with condensed milk - by far the nicest one i've had in Vietnam so far. Well worth coming here...

Cute but food is not as shown on the menu (what else is new). I was expecting a baguette with avacoado, cheese, eggs, cilantro... Etc and got just bread and over cooked egg. It's too bad because it's a cute place. Maybe just go for some so so local coffee.

One of the best cafes serving really authentic coffee in vietnam. We really loved the brown coffee here. The cafe is nice and cozy and the staff is very courteous, you must visit this place. They play really nice music and cafe vibes are vibrant.

Lovely little cafe! Beautiful murals and decor inside, delicious egg coffee and such care is put into making the drinks and food. I would love to spend a full afternoon in here enjoying the atmosphere!
