Located at the end of the market, we came here as a family after reading some positive reviews from others. We had previously dined at restaurants at the start of the market that had poor quality food, slow service and expensive price so we had a basis for comparison.
First of all, Thai son is a hidden gem of the market and provides wonderful food, service and a very affordable price. The chef Phillip was very generous with his time and he has a real passion for cooking. He even gave us some free dishes too and a gift bag of phu quoc pepper which was a great gesture. All the foods were tasty and packed full of flavours and came out real fast! The water spinach was perfectly cooked and had more flavours than the other restaurants we've been in phu quoc. The grilled prawns were simply massive and fresh. The clams and scallops with garlic butter was delicious . The Singaporean chili crab had a nice blend of flavours and very affordable, recommend to order some bread to dip into that egg sauce! Overall the food were better tasting than other restaurants in the market and much cheaper too. I'm glad I skipped all the other restaurants to take my family here to try...
Read moreI totally recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious and well-priced seafood meal. This place is found at the end of night market and was kinda dark but the quality of food and service was superb. The owner/chef was so nice. He recommended what we should try and even gave us freebies. We went there on a Monday night so there werent many people and the service was really fast. Above all, the taste of the food was really really great! I hope many people will visit this place and try their food. I am sure you will...
