NEMO Beach Bar - Mui Ne — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

Poor staff attitude ruins the vibe of an otherwise great spot. I’ve been to this bar a few times during my visit and I like the facilities , location and the crowd there. I never understood why it was never busy when I visited as it seemed like an obvious choice for the many hotels in the area. I will preface what I’m going to say by clarifying that the evening staff is ok but maybe could be more service oriented. The young girl that was working the bar there both times that I visited in the afternoon has a severe attitude issue for someone with the responsibility of giving the first impressions to their guests. Not only was she indifferent and unwelcoming, but she was sitting behind the standup bar on her phone most of the time so when you would look to order a drink it gave the appearance that there was no one there unless she stood up and looked around. THE MANAGER/ OWNERS of these businesses need some kind of a ( no cell phone policy ) to deal with this behaviour. Great service. Friendly staff. For breakfast, the avacado coffee and happy bowl (smoothie) are delecious and healthy. The whiskeys are diverse and the Coco Bomb and Sincity cocktails are the owner's inventions and they are must try cocktails as they are uniquely associate with Nemo Beach Bar. The owner Tùng, is friendly and free spirit, who happens to be the guitarist and composer for Vietnam's legendary rock band Microwave. The Brazilian lemonade is so so good. I turned up about 8pm and the place was very quiet but I think it’s low season at the moment. The people and staff that run this place are lovely and very attentive. I also had meat fried spring rolls which were nice. They give you mosquito repellent and wipes which was a nice touch. Lots of seating and also sunbeds! The music they played was really good, nice chilled vibes and not too loud.
