Poor staff attitude ruins the vibe of an otherwise great spot. I’ve been to this bar a few times during my visit and I like the facilities , location and the crowd there. I never understood why it was never busy when I visited as it seemed like an obvious choice for the many hotels in the area. I will preface what I’m going to say by clarifying that the evening staff is ok but maybe could be more service oriented. The young girl that was working the bar there both times that I visited in the afternoon has a severe attitude issue for someone with the responsibility of giving the first impressions to their guests. Not only was she indifferent and unwelcoming, but she was sitting behind the standup bar on her phone most of the time so when you would look to order a drink it gave the appearance that there was no one there unless she stood up and looked around. THE MANAGER/ OWNERS of these businesses need some kind of a ( no cell phone policy ) to deal with this behaviour. In addition it helps a tremendous amount if your front end people are gracious, friendly and welcoming when the guests arrive. Helps with Tim’s too.
