Chez Oanh Cafe — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

We ordered noodles, tofu and vegetable spring rolls. The noodles and tofu arrived first, they were pretty mediocre but edible and we were tired and hungry so we didn't mind. There was no sign of the spring rolls, but we didn't bother reminding them since our expectations had been lowered by the other food. When we finished our meal I ordered a chocolate milk. It was pretty flavourless. When we were basically ready to leave, lo and behold, our spring rolls arrived! At this point we really didn't feel like eating them, but we gave it a go. They tasted like pure oil, and there was no distinguishable vegetables inside, just grey mush. So we gave up. We went to pay and asked if we could pay half for the spring rolls considering they were so late and inedible. In fairness the waitress we were dealing with was really nice and seemed sympathetic, but the chef just kept shouting no. So I have to say I really can't recommend this place...

Terrible place! The waiters are clueless! My son ordered mac and cheese, but they brought him carbonara. I ordered a vegetable lasagna and a matcha with coconut milk, but they brought a regular one. When I told the waiter I had ordered the vegetable lasagna, he just said, “Oh, we don’t have that.” When I asked why he didn’t tell me earlier, he mumbled something incomprehensible.

When they brought my son’s drink, they mentioned they were out of coconut, but it turned out they didn’t have coconut milk at all—something we only found out later! In the end, we waited over 20 minutes, got the wrong food, and they didn’t even bother to fix it. We left hungry!

Awful place! I wouldn’t recommend...

Firstly, we sat down and no waiters approached us even though the place was empty. We waited ten minutes and ended up approaching them ourselves. We ordered gnocchi with tomato sauce- it was mediocre at best. The sauce was tomato liquid, but the worst thing of all was the lasagnes we ordered- one vegetarian and one normal, both were 100% frozen. The meat one tasted mushy, not resembling beef at all. The cheese on top was horrendous. It was like rubber and it was genuinely inedible as there is a super nice food hall one minute away. Everything we ordered was clearly frozen and not fresh at all.
