Zen & Rest Bistro — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

Came for a breakfast today, as saw so many positive reviews. The menu has lots variations for breakfast and lunch. But unfortunately the manager lady was so rude and not polite this morning. We ordered two cappuccinos and a breakfast as well. After 5 minutes we received something compliantly different instead, Vietnamese coffee with milk, decently not cappuccino. When I said to a manager lady, that it’s not what I ordered, she immediately started to be super rude and not polite. Her answer was: “do you know how to make cappuccino”? “ come to the kitchen and show me then”

Why would i receive such an answer from the manger, when I came to have a breakfast with coffee, I came not to teach someone to make a right coffee for sure.

first time I came across this cafe while walking down the street and noticed people eating croissants. I came and ordered plain croissant with coffee. Service was slow. finally I got my coffee after maybe 20 min (ok, the cafe was full of customers) then waiter told me that they are out of croissants. ok, at least they have nice americano. today I gave this place a second chance and ordered sandwich w cheese&mushroom and lemonade. the sandwich disappointed me: simple plastic cheese, tasteless mushrooms and Idk why ketchup w mayonnaise. bread was hardly ever warm and crispy in a bad way. potatoes was overdried. Went twice and both times there were issues with the food. First night my wife had an overwhelming amount of onions in her meal that weren't listed on the menu. She let them know that was why she didnt finish it when asked. Also I had a steak that was probably the toughest piece of meat I've ever eaten, so much so my jaw literally hurt after trying to eat half of it. Second night, my wife asked for no onions in her salad and sure enough out came the onions. We didn't complain but the server (same as night before) recognized the onions she had pulled out and put on the side and took it off of the bill which was nice.
