My experience at Saigon Mui Ne Resort was truly memorable, with many positive highlights to share. The breakfast at the resort was a delightful culinary journey, offering an array of delectable options that started each day on a high note. The immaculate grounds and the stunning pool area were not just visually appealing but created a serene and inviting atmosphere for relaxation.
The resort's central location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. What truly set this resort apart was the exceptional staff. They were not oortable and charming retreat. However, we did encounter a slight hiccup with room 406 due to a booking mix-up, which is worth mentioning. This room had a peculiar odor, lacked natural light, and the air conditioner struggled to cool it adequately. To make matters less ideal, it was situated across a busy road in an annex of the resort, making it less suitable for families with young children. It was evident that this room was the last available for a reason, and I would strongly recommend staying within the original resort grounds for a more pleasant experience.
Despite this initial setback, the resort's excellent team quickly rectified the situation by providing us with a great room the next day. Their swift and effective resolution saved our domestic vacation break in Vietnam, and we're immensely grateful for their efforts.
The resort spa offered a relaxing experience, although I did come across more impressive masseuses on the main road, which is worth considering if you're seeking the ultimate relaxation.
Getting around the area was a breeze with Grab, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Just be sure to confirm your room choice to ensure you have the best experience possible.
I must also mention the wonderful staff's attention to detail. They promptly returned my favorite hat, which I had accidentally left behind in the spa. This small but thoughtful gesture added to the positive impression of their commitment to guest satisfaction. Lastly, I can't forget to mention the delightful cocktails at the beach bar, particularly the mojito, which added a perfect finishing touch to our experience. It was truly a fantastic and memorable vacation filled with fun...
Read moreAs one of the first resorts in Mui ne, Saigon Mui Ne have both pros and cons. What are great? Best location in the resort district, in the middle of every tourist hot spots and restaurants. Intact coconut trees since the days Mui Ne was just a little fishing town over 20 years ago. The garden is huge and well taken care with a lot of green. You will feel like living in a tropical paradise. The beach is tranquil, clean, and kid friendly. What are needed to improve? Although rooms are quite clean and full of facilities, they are old with very poor soundproof. We could hear every single noise and kid playing outside even at night. They are really needed a renovation to qualify current 4-stars standard. Service is ok although the staffs are not so friendly, compared with some 4-stars resort in the neighborhood like Bamboo village or Terra Cotta. Breakfast is ok for 1 or 2 nights trip. However food will be repeated and boring if you stay longer than 2 nights. Lunch and dinner options are expensive and not suitable for small group or below 5 members family.
Overall, I am confident to rate my experience 3.5/5 stars. It could be a great choice in Muine if they can improve room soundproof, food service and their public facilities.
P.S. Please note that they have 2 buildings, one is next to the beach and another across the street. All standard rooms are inside the building across the street so everytime you want to go to the beach, swimming pool or restaurant you need to get across the street, which is really inconvenient. I highly recommend to book Superior Garden View or Deluxe Sea View rooms which are more convenient...
Read moreIncompetent staff speak little to zero English. Most of their work seems like a scam. When I put down the monetary deposit I had to argue with the receptionist to give me a receipt knowing that they need the receipt to give me back my deposit. The breakfast was a mess and unorganized with the wrong signage. The buffet was dirty and unkempt and made eating just very unappetizing. The house keeping staff has very clear documentation as to who is checking in and out and when they know and see that we have an additional night they shouldn’t be knocking and waking us up at 9am. To show even more incompetence we had to ask multiple times where we would need to be to be picked up for our bus out of Mui Ne and they just go sit and that the bus is coming at 10:20. It made zero sense seeing as we were 20 meters into the resort and couldn’t see the buses or the road so after asking again multiple times they told us to go to the parking lot. Pretty much the only helpful person in the whole resort was a security man that after showing him the ticket informed us that the BUS PICKS US UP ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD. if it was up to them we would have missed the bus. Last and not least this place won’t give you a receipt after checking out. Pretty much making you still liable and they argue with you saying they can’t give. I do not recommend this...
