Friendly Restaurant — Restaurant in Ta Van Commune

During our stay in Lao Chai, we had dinner at this place after seeing the comments about the good Western food, we decided to try the Vietnamese food however, and it was amazing. Nice menu with both western and vietnamese options, we came twice during our stay in Tavan. We had pizza's which were actually great, the best we've had in Asia so far along with a grilled porc hot plate which was also very good. Portions are large and prices are very fair (100-120k dong for a pizza, 40-90k for local options). Only reason I won't give 5 stars is because they charged us a plate we didn't order and that we thought was included...

They serve the best food we had so far in Vietnam. Other than that, the people are very friendly and give free liqour to returning costumers. We have eaten dinner 2 times here and breakfast once. I would recommend anyone who is in Sapa to drive or hike to Tavan just to enjoy...
