Nice resto for local Okinawan cuisine. There was a 30 min queue for dinner, if you're willing to wait, the food is quite delicious. There is a recommended set, another patron said "Set A is really good" on his way out. My group ended going a la carte because most of the dishes we wanted were not in the set. The champuru and pork soup (very wholesome, soul food feels) were complimented by everyone, the squid ink soup was loaded with squid chunks and the flavors was positively intense. The squid ink risotto was more of a porridge and worth trying if you have a large group, I would skip it if you're a couple because the portion is large. They have homemade umeshu and large bottles of Orion, but nothing on that's on tap. Owner thanked us on the way out, nice guy and rounded out the overall pleasant experience.

Amazing food, amazing staff. I personally had the Goya Campuru (bitter melon with egg and tofu), Rafute (2 pieces of pork belly in some sort of sauce), and the Ika-yaki (Squid ink yakisoba noodles). The champuru was great - as a person that isn't a fan of super bitter foods, the freshness and thin slice made it a ton more enjoyable than I expected. The rafute and ikayaki were also great - I'd recommend some carb to go with the fatty pork belly though. In total, I paid ¥2100 for 3 dishes. Service was amazing, and there's an English menu. Be prepared to pay in cash - they do not take credit cards. The only downside is that it's a really popular restaurant among locals and tourists! I waited 45-60 minutes on a Monday evening.

A great place to taste Okinawa food. Good Sree Stir fried in woks with long chopsticks. Slow heat. I love their vegetable dishes. Although most of them are pork and beef base. Pure vegetarians should avoid or be very careful cos they may accidentally sneak some port belly in the wok. I don’t eat meat by health choice, but not religious against it. So the accidentally taste of meat is ok with me. Got to order the seaweed salad (See pics). They are like string of bubbles eh ouch burst in your mouth. I love the okra / egg plant. Tofu seaweed soup is very appetising. And you got to leave space for the Okinawa soba. Wow! Soup is so nice and soba so fresh.

This place is amazing. We had the set (nine course menu), the goya champuru, and the ribs, in addition to beer and snake alcohol, and paid around 3000 yen each, which was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food we got. The staff is super nice and helpful with their menu (and they do have an English menu with pictures!), and the place is really cozy and traditional. It’s close to the tourist area, but just far enough whereby you don’t feel like you’re in the busy touristy street. It’s definitely worth visiting if you want to try traditional foods in a traditional setting, but you may have to wait a bit depending on when you go!

This place was our first dinner for my wife and I. The wait was long (almost an hour's wait I think) but it was worth it. This place serves awesome traditional Okinawa cuisine and the service the folks at the restaurant provided was very hospitable. I would say that the other places we visited thereafter which serves similar food pales in comparison. They have an English menu, but if I remember correctly there weren't price tags to them, but the portion they served was filling for two, and at the end my wife and I felt this place was really worth the money, so two thumbs up!

Good introductory restaurant serving Okinawan dinner buffet, including Soba and rice with soup. The surrounding is quite authentic Japanese casual dining. Service is fast. Enjoyed the pork shabu shabu dinner buffet, which you have free refills of pork slices, vegetables and noodles or rice. Unfortunately, the vegetables are limited to mostly cabbage, some enoki mushrooms and green mustard leaves. There is 1 non-refillable plate of seafood, comprising white fish, scallops and prawns. These were fairly fresh. The soup base is somewhat salty, probably due to bonito added.
