Just from 'HOT WOK' Chinese Restaurant had a 'traumatic experience'; as both my Wife and I are vegetarian, after consuming some of the ordered dish 'Paneer Makhani' towards the end she detected smaller pieces of 'chicken'. With the 'evidence' on the dinner plate the Waiter took the complaint to the Kitchen. Coming back to say the Chef has insisted it was all 'Paneer in the gravy. The 'serving dish' in which the 'Paneer Makhani' was originally brought was still on our table, more pieces of chicken were identified and shown to the Waiter, no denying then! Every item was 'charged' for and no apologies were offered by 'HOT WOK' Chinese Restaurant staff/Management. Paid and left.

The location is a little off, but ain't that the case with Chinese restaurant haha. I worked up a big appetite in preparation for the Chinese food I had so long been yearning but I was rather disappointed. I vehemently emphasised my aversion for spices to the waiter but the food still came with spices and the moment it reached the stomach I fell sick immediately had to carry the bulk of the food home and I had to call a cab since I was sick . The waiter apologized for the mishap . The waiters were polite but would leer a lot. They also talking about me in their local language, unbeknown to them I understood every word they said.

We had a great Saturday dinner at Hot Wok. We ordered Tom Yum soup, hot and sour soup, schezwan chicken, chicken Manchurian, fried rice, chicken tikka masala and naan bread. The food was good but they add a lot of onions (if you’re not an onion lover like me then make sure let the waitstaff know to add less onions and more chicken) and friendly service. The restaurant serves both Indian and Chinese cuisines and it is Halal certified.

The positive of this restaurant is halal food with good atmosphere The food is pathetic and I am not able to give half a star else I would have given the same or else negative rating. The items in the menu are not available and they just saying the item will take time to bring even if you say after sometime they will come and say the item is not available. The time for serving food is very long that I can take an entire trip around Lusaka and come back in fact twice The service is bad There is no space in the restaurant This is a place where you can order food when you have a lot of time because literally it can take hours to waste and the wait is not recommended since the food is pathetic There are some menu which are not in this universe in sense of taste like Hyderabadi chicken... It's a total waste of money , time and there is no quality of food The prices of the food is not as per the quantity served and the price is...
