Hammering Man is a series of monumental kinetic sculptures of a painted steel silhouette of a man with motorized arm and hammer movement. They were designed by Jonathan Borofsky at different scales and painted black, to symbolize and celebrate workers throughout the world, and they were structurally engineered by Leslie E. Robertson Associates (LERA). Before visiting Frankfurt, Germany, I was not aware of Hammering Man and the beauty of watching it live. As this hardly anywhere listed as a tourist attraction in Frankfurt. While roaming around in the streets of Frankfurt this suddenly attracted our attention. We spent a lot of good time here. I strongly recommend tourists to visit this place admire the beauty.

A striking piece of public art close to the art museum. It commemorates the efforts and the labors of the workers who built this town, downplayed that are often downplayed or ignored. The constant motion of the silhouetted form conveys the universal routines of the workers without whose sweat and striving civilization would not be able to function. It's large enough to be seen all around the Pike Market and Seattle waterfront area, and I always find it a very moving and elegant sculpture when I see it.

That day, the weather was very eligible for a walk arround Frankfurt. And that giant man with a hamer (Hammering Man) attracted us to stop and give the moments a memory. Totally Frankfurt has a good weather. And a nice city. This picture's philosophy is to honor the people who work hard with there physical and metal powers to build there countries. For me, it was something which shows how Germans are hard working.
