A wonderful small open air bazaar (pazari) where you can buy fresh produce, fruits, nuts, tobacco, meat, fish, chicken, etc, and which is lined with restaurants and cafés serving both traditional and continental foods and pastries to satisfy any and all palettes. You can also purchase handmade pottery, etc. A wonderful place to visit or shop, any day or time. Note that many vendors and some restaurants are closed on Sunday. We love it and visit daily for fresh fruits (most are so ripe and delicious that you must eat them the same day or next) and our meals. Why cook when the traditional Albanian food is so delicious and inexpensive? Don't forget to tip!

Nice Bazar but small, products are local (at least it seems this way) and locals are welcoming. Prices are fair, not low but not outrageous. A lot of dried fruits and some pickled items. Be cautious of surrounding restaurants as they make charge a service fee which is not nice. Lastly there are some nice local items but not so much in that sense. Not bad, a definite place to visit.

I loved this bazaar very much. It is part of Tirana's culture and a wonderful place to watch the people burying there their vegetables, fruits and other things like carpets or different things. Around the market hall you can find several Albanian restaurants that I can highly recommend. The prices were okay, not very high, not very cheap but cheaper than most places I have been to.

Pazari i Ri i Tiranes is one of the most attractive destinations for those who wish to experience Albanian culture and traditions. This lively area offers a special atmosphere, where history and modernity blend harmoniously.

One of the most attractive elements of the Bazaar is its traditional architecture, with buildings dating back to the Ottoman period. The central square is filled with small shops, where we can find local products such as cheeses, honey, olive oil and fresh vegetables. Here you can also try traditional Albanian dishes, such as pies and meatballs.

A place that must be visited is Ura e Tabakeve, an important historical monument that connects the two sides of the Bazaar. It offers a beautiful view of the Lana River and is an excellent photo spot. Also nearby is Pazari i Ri i Ri, a newly developed space that offers coffee shops and restaurants, making it an ideal place to relax after a long shopping session.

Another attraction is Teqeja e Dollmasë, which reflects the spiritual heritage of the area. This historical structure is a symbol of Tirana's cultural diversity. In the end, the colors, sounds and aromas of the New Market make this place an unforgettable experience, where every visitor can feel the Albanian hospitality at every corner.

The New Market is a place where history, culture and tradition meet, offering a rich experience to...

Is very interesting combination of shops , restaurants , stalls who sell all sorts of fruits and vegetables. Prices might be a bit steep , however quality is great . There are various butchers and fishmongers around the market. Even if you don't want to buy anything , just stroll around . Something will catch your eye . Traders will try to persuade you to buy something from their perspective view , Negotiate if you are not sure what you are asked to pay , If you aren't convinced , smile say thank you and walk way . My tip is this . Browse around first , take your time and consideration and then buy...
