Lifeblood Modbury Donor Centre — Attraction in Adelaide

I am a regular donor and would give this place 5 stars had it not been one staff member in particular. Throughout all of my donations, I've never had any issues with my donations and that still remains the case. However, there is male staff member who continuously feels obligated to remind me with every donation that because my blood is being drawn at a slower rate (due to my thin veins) that I'm best off calling off my donation before it finishes. Stating that they'd rather I "donate 100ml and end my donation early rather than donating a larger amount over 45mins to an hour, because we can still use even a 100ml donation." I want to donate the fullest amount I can and I'm proud to. His arrogant bedside manner makes me feel like my donation isn't valued and that's why I've rated this centre 3 stars, otherwise the rest of the staff are lovely and have no issues with my donation...

The lovliest staff and the most relaxed atmosphere. And they even support the local community! I have brang my Girl Guide biscuits in the past two visits and they have all jumped on board and grabbed a packet or two. Absolutely love it here. It was an absolute pleasure donating plasma today. I was visiting from Vic and decided to donate if they could fit me in, they did. It was terrific to have the option of a fresh sandwich and various items to drink after my donation. Much better than party pies and dry biscuits which are the normal options. Well done all round.
