Mod Pizzeria Modbury — Restaurant in Adelaide

I have been a loyal customer of your pizzeria since 2022, regularly ordering and sometimes visiting with my family. I have always appreciated your service, but unfortunately, my recent experience on March 9th left me quite disappointed.

I placed an order for a family-size half-and-half pizza at around 11:32 PM. While ordering, I informed the staff that I was coming from work and asked if I could pick it up around 11:55 PM or 12:00 AM. I was told that the restaurant would be closing in 10–15 minutes, so I rushed to arrive by 11:45 PM. However, when I got there, my pizza was not ready and had not even been placed in the oven. Instead, I saw it being prepared in front of me, which was unexpected given the time constraints. Moreover, the quality of the pizza I received was disappointing. It had an excessive amount of chili flakes on one side, making it difficult to enjoy. Given the $33 price, I expected better preparation and consistency in quality. As a long-time and regular customer, I sincerely hope this was just an isolated incident. We had an amazing dining experience at Mod Pizzeria! My wife and I visited for dinner, and everything from the food to the service was exceptional. For starters, we ordered the garlic pizza, seafood risotto, and pasta. Each dish was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and made with the freshest ingredients. The garlic pizza was perfectly baked, the risotto was creamy and full of seafood goodness, and the pasta was cooked to perfection.

The staff were outstanding, incredibly attentive, and made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly service. The owners have clearly poured their heart into this place, and it shows in both the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere they’ve created. Uber eats this less than 30 minutes ago. Now I'm not the type to leave a review but this has to be sorted out.

Thoroughly disappointed, as you can see it's barely bigger than a knife and almost perfectly the size of a Samsung S7. It had zero taste to it and when you did get a flavor it was just pure oil not to mention it was wet and soggy. It was stacked on-top of reheated chips and when moved you could see just how much oil they had used to cook the meat. I'm actually nervous to open the garlic bread that came with it.
