The summer garden festival was on today. Last year was amazing. This year....Not so much....and it was not due to the weather. The first cider we ordered was flat. I understand the taps were not ready...but isnt this something that should be sorted out before it opens? Unconvincingly....the second cider ordered an hour later was not much better. We were then handed cold fries from another vendor who assured us they were fresh. They replaced them but still...is it that hard to provide fresh food in the first place? On a lesser note the fringe act was average compared to last year. Not a big deal, but when judging overall, this year feels like the SGF has taken a downward slide from last year. On a positive note...the musical artists were excellent. There were many acoustic covers which sounded amazing. We love this festival as it brings the fringe closer to home. I hope this year is not a premonition of...

Have you seen what autumn is like at civic park? 🍁🌿🍂🍃I haven't been spending time at civic park for a long time, but around 2 weeks ago I brought my friend there and we stayed there for a long time. It is so pretty with all the autumn leaves falling on the green grass.

There is a playground with some popular playing equipment, they look safe and fun. The big meadow is always green, the grass always look like they have been looked after well.

There are toilets in the park, and some restaurants close by. The TTG library is just next to it. Opposite the civic park on North East Road, you got Tea Tree Plaza shopping centre.

Very good location, nice place for people, birds, and dogs. Nice spot for relaxing, and catching up with friends and families. Highly recommend this park for all, especially for those who live...

A very popular area. Nicely spread out with lots of as shade cloths over the play areas. Good little toddler area that is partially fenced off. Quite a few slides of varying size and climbing ropes.

Nice little water play area but it on multiple levels so need to watch kids climbing up and down when it’s all wet.

Sand pit area with more climbing ropes and lots of swings. Seats along most of the edge so you can sit and watch.

Not fully fenced and there is a main road and creek so need to watch kids. Very close to Tea Tree Plaza shops and food court. Public toilets very close to park with baby...

My sister and I went to an event called Jesus in the Park - Free food and fun on 16th November. It was so great to see people in the community coming together and encouraging others. All the food was free There were heaps of food trucks with Paella, a sausage sizzle and lots of other food, drinks (especially needed as it was a very hot day), coffee, zooper doopers. There was face painting for the kids, live music and dancing, stalls with jewellery, books, clothes, and other things. Highly recommend going for a day out to relax and unwind

Civic Park is a great playground with areas for both bigger and smaller children. During the school holidays it can be crazy busy with children everywhere, it’s almost overwhelming; especially for smaller/ younger children. When we visited today is was quite overcast and starting to spit/rain slightly. We decided to stick it out and my son had a fabulous few hours on the play equipment!
