Sandy Gully Beach — Attraction in Aireys Inlet

Quiet unpatrolled beach with pretty strong currents - so not a safe beach for swimming too far out but perfect for shallow dipping & enjoying the surf by the beach which does give you a pounding "massage". Does throw up a bit of seaweed & kelp every so often but not too bad. Beach is clean with limited car parking with two wooden staircases leading down to this pretty cove with clean sand. No taps for washing off or drinking water. Sheltered on one side by cliffs which form part of the stunning coastal reserve walking trail. There's a Lookout at the top...
