Ambience superb! There’s nothing quite so purifying as walking into a light and bright cafe powered by smiling women. Long black was pretty good. But what stood out was the service. My pup was tied up in the rain and they kindly directed me to an outdoor sheltered area so we could sit together. I also needed to re charge my phone. Not a prob, they happily allowed me access to a power outlet on the wall. This is very useful for travellers. Excellent food and perfect coffee. Short changed on the scrambled egg. About 60% volume, enough to cover one piece of toast. They didn’t seem to cope very well with the public holiday crowd, still quite a few empty tables and nobody waiting for a seat, with a 40 minute wait on the food. Owner got a bit blustery with the table next to us for having a modified food order and the staff confused with table service (delivery). Found this place with decent reviews and decided to try it for brunch along the Great Ocean Road. Seems like a small outfit but in fact it's interior is a comfortable space. The menu has a wide range of options, some with a Turkish twist. We tried the signature breakfast roll that was delicious but I preferred the avocado on toast.
