Firstly we ordered a byron bay pizza. Less than 5 minutes later we were buzzed to advise the pizza was ready. After trying to eat the pizza, it was cold in the middle and taken back to the manager on duty. He said no worries we will nuke it for a second and that should fix it - no the pizza was not put back in the wood fired ovens to cook properly but nuked in the microwave. That pizza was then literally thrown on our laps with the message, it has been nuked, if you are unhappy bring it back now and we will refund your money.
Service did get worse from there. We ordered a bottle of wine. Upon receiving the bottle, we took it to our seats and poured one standard glass each. When we went to pour the second glass it only poured 1/2 a standard glass each which indicated we were not given a full bottle of wine. I approached the manager again. I advised him if the issue. He told me that they had run out of wine and had to go upstairs to get another bottle which he “cracked the lid on”, he then proceeded to gaslight saying things like, were you pouring standard glasses, can you see how much you are pouring in the dark… i have taken a photo without a flash so you can see how clear it is and the dark is no factor.
I question this males professionalism and customer service skills. Does he actually even know how many standard drinks are in a bottle if wine… certainly not three as discussed. Clearly not as he needs to gaslight instead of owning his mistakes and at least discussing it proactively with customers

Read moreGiving this place a single star because it isn’t possible to give absolutely zero. While we can understand that the weather is unpredictable. It seems poorly done that refund policies are that you will be receiving them in the form of credits for an event that is at the mercies of the heavens. What happens in a month or months of bad weather then ? What happens if you were here on transit ? What happens if the next time in land in Au is in a decade? If you are simply passing through, give it a miss. The staff on site were very lovely, they apologised beautifully and were sincerely upset for us but the helpdesk ( general manager ) was apparently only able to cite sections of their T&C defensively. Very poorly done, highly do not recommend unless you have cash to splash and watching a movie isn’t exactly too high on your...
Read moreWatched The Grand Hotel on a Sunday. Pros: headphones have good sound, they sell popcorn and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alc), free parking but only around New Farm park, they had free insect repellent - HUGE bonus. Cons: I could hear music next door and the constant airplane passing through when the movie was quiet, the session was not even close to full but they only had regular Coke in the fridge, chair is made of wood and can get a bit uncomfortable, if there's no free parking your option is Powerhouse for $12 after 5pm, the session only starts when they say it's dark enough. I would probably choose a regular cinema over the open air, especially because they will not cancel a session...
