I am fond of this 'little sister' of New Farm Park with well-maintained grass and paths; a kid's playground, and gorgeous 'Pride of Bolivia' trees. It commences at the Sydney Street Ferry terminal and ends at the pastry and coffee shop with outdoor seating or, if you like, the Merthyr Bowls Club. I love this park at dawn, midday, and under a full moon. I like the boats bobbing on the river, the dusty but well-done mosaic installations, and the small craft that look like they've been abandoned on the 'beach'. Great park for walking, chatting and seating oneself to philosophise while looking over the river. There is various exercise equipment and obscure public art littered along the park, and peaceful places to read and lay on the grass or under trees. Also, near the ferry terminal, there are some barbecues. However, there is no public bathroom, so this may deter the Anonymous Incontinents from spending long periods of time here, as they would have to walk to New Farm Park or Merthyr...
