New Farm Library — Attraction in Brisbane City

Such a great spot! First time visiting this library on a Wed morn for toddler rhyme time. My little one (17MO) loved the class held by Christine who was very patient with the kids. Only a 30min class at 930am, before the actual library opens up at 10am. It's free and no booking needed!

We played in the playground at the back of the library. Got a park next to it which is dedicated to library attendees, but I can imagine would get quite busy and hard to find a park the later in the day it gets.

Great nook for bubs too with Lego wall and play section.

Moved to Teneriffe a few years back and the first facility I looked for was a library. New Farm library did not disappoint. The staff are helpful and interested in your reading material. Combine that with the computer sourcing technology and in my opinion the service is excellent. We often seek out newly published works and they are promptly sourced for us.
