Decided to chance this place as we had a show at Brisbane Powerhouse. Good location and it seemed that it was popular with due to that. Place was busy, service was quick and perhaps too efficient….?! I queried what veggies were going to be in a particular stir fry, and the wait staff bought out a list of what seemed like exactly what would go into it. I omitted a couple, and confirmed what would be in it. I was impressed, till the dish came out with 2 other veggies not specified. I didn’t bring it to their attention as my dinner companions meal had arrived and it would have delayed the evening. The other main was a pork stir fry, which turned out to be cold. For a dish that is supposed to be straight from the wok, didn’t make sense. As it had been plated with rice already, they advised they could heat the food on the plate in the micro, and heat the remaining via the wok. Both the plate and the main plate came out at the same time with a couple of minutes. Both had been microwaved. The rice was room temperature as well. Due to time constraints to the rest of the evening pre planned, we decided to cut our losses and just eat, pay and leave. Staff were busy, it definitely feels like a lot of food is pre made and heated as even the table of six near us received their food in record time after they ordered. May come back, but not for a while.

A quaint Thai restaurant at New Farm.Suprisingly excellent food. I had the Vegetable spring rolls for an entree. They were crisp, cooked at the right temperature and full of flavor. I ordered the beef with chilli and basil. Just the right amount of chilli to offset the flavours. lots of veggies and the beef was very tender. Enough juices to be soaked up by some rice. The price was reasonable. The staff were friendly. Considering there are a few Thai restaurants to choose from, I would have dinner here again.

$17.90 Lunch special was a good deal; a stir fry with rice, a curry with rice or a noodle. We chose a chicken cashew nut with rice and a chicken pad Thai. The food was served in a short wait-generous portion and tasted authentic. Enjoyed Pad Thai with its charred aroma and it wasn’t overly sweet like in many Thai restaurants. Chicken in both meals appeared to be precooked so a little dry. The service was straight forward. We got we wanted. Quiet atmosphere but clean and well organised.

Must say I was a little disappointed. The read reviews were mostly good but I found the food to be just on the pricier side. Massamun curry is the comparison dish when trying different Thai restaurants and this one was good enough although simple in taste, sometimes this curry has a complex mix of tastes but not here. My friend ordered a chicken, basil dish and I couldn't tell the meat was chicken. It did take a while to get served but the food came out very soon after being ordered. Atmosphere was simple, some Thai restaurants have a lot of decoration, this one didn't. I won't be going back but would say to try it once. Just remember above average prices with ok dishes. Perhaps try the stir-fry dishes, they seemed popular...

Not kid friendly. We have been loyal customers for 13 years, until our last visit where on arrival one of the waitresses said that all their empty tables were fully booked out. When we asked what time the bookings started and offered to be finished in 30 minutes she said, ok but only on condition that our 5 year old not throw any food on the ground as he had thrown a glass a year ago. We instructed our boy to be on best behaviour and he agreed. But it's unacceptable from my point of view to pretend they are booked out when they're not to de facto ban a small family from a restaurant and beyond that to essentially disrespect anyone with a young child. Don't come if you have a toddler or...
