You can get there from New Farm Park, this River Walk encapsulates the serene yet vibrant spirit of the city, making it an essential experience for both locals and visitors.

Despite the waterfront being crowded out by private development, here is a path that gives the public access to a long stretch of the river. How is it done? The pathway has been built out on the river itself. So the line you see on Google Maps that indicates having to walk on water, is actually correct!

The new permanent, piled, concrete structure has really been well designed and built. It accommodates walkers/runners as well as those on bicycles. There are covered seating areas spaced out along the length of the walkway. They are lit and have water. It is a very popular attraction at any time of day and night.
