The Queensland Police Museum also shows videos of actual events that took place in Queensland.
One example is the story of Athol "Slim"Halliday, who was a criminal that was known as the Houdini of Boggo Road Jail.
Athol "Slim" Halliday made 6 attempts to escape from this establishment & was successful on 2 occasions 1940 & 1946.
There is a movie that was filmed in & around Brisbane currently showing starring Bryan Brown as Athol "Slim" Halliday.
In the museum is the stuffed dog, Peter, who was owned by this person.
