The departure displays on west end of platform 8 are very blurry, and have been for some time (more than 3 years) - I'm surprised they haven't been fixed.
Construction under way for the new underground platforms (Cross River Rail), temporary entrance, and closed footpaths nearby (so they can leave their rubbish bins there).
A lot of trains have maintenance issues, such as doors that do not open, and pa systems that cut in and out, so messages don't make sense.
Large train and bus station at the edge of the CBD with 11 platforms (2 bus platforms numbered 1-2, 9 train platforms numbered 2-10). Plenty of vending machines (soft drinks, chips, chocolate, phone chargers). Escalators and stairs to all platforms, disabled access via lifts. Close to the new coach terminal, Roma Street Parklands and law courts. Short walk to the City Hall and Suncorp stadium.
Don't expect to find any cheap or convenient parking nearby. If you want to get here, catch a train (or bus).
There is a drop-off/pickup area, but between there and any platform other than 10 requires 3 escalators and crossing the road.
There are no lockers or any...

Then at the platform there is actually a spot to get on the trains where there is no step up but there are no signs for that either - instead of yelling at visitors who are new to Australia about not doing things the way it is expected to be done platform staff could rather offer assistance to help us...
Read moreDisgusting parking prices $80 for just UNDER 3 hours, their cheap trash machines tap to pay did not work forcing me to go all the way up BY STAIRS to the top level to get a credit card from the car and back down again to pay which raised the cost from $70 to $80! Find parking elsewhere because these morons will rip you off and the bums are too cheap to hire an onsite worker for any issues like I and another guy encountered with the pay machines. He was on the phone trying to contact the company for over 10 minutes in a queue all the while being charged for parking because again, he...
