Very misleading advertising and the rooms are damaged, tired and old. We booked one of their supposed best rooms - the water view king bed studio apartment. Upon booking, features you are told is that they have a beautiful pool, foxtel, 24/7 room service and other amenities. We came to check in, were asked to wait and waited for 30minutes before we were even attended to. When we finally checked in, we are told the pool is closed (has been for some time) why was this not mentioned on their website or when we booked as we wanted to spend time in pool in hot darwin weather. Only 1 elevator working for guests and maintenance/staff sharing. The hallways to rooms smell very mouldy and damp. When we got to our room, it was very damaged and dirty. The carpet was lifted in multiple areas and covered with rips and cigarette burns. Our fridge looked like someone had taken a scourer to the outside, maybe to remove damage/graffiti from a previous occupant? the glass wardrobe doors were dirty and covered in splatters/hand prints. The bed head had what we could only guess were suspicious bodily or lubricant fluids splattered all over it as it had not been cleaned. The table was all scratched and dented around the sides like it had been thrown and banged around. We rang to ask the assistant manager to change us rooms as the room was disgusting and they did, but it was a disabled access room. However this room was cleaner and in better state then the last. The shower heads are not the nice large party shower heads they show in their photographs online, they are small cheap ones same as what I have at home. There is no blanket on the bed only a sheet, none in cupboard provided either. The foxtel channels they state they have are literally 2 sport channels and free to air TV and that's it, not even a smart TV so you can't connect your phone or log into netflix to watch anything. There is no cold water, mini bar, or snacks provided in the rooms for purchase. Upon trying to order room service we are told only the snack menu is available for roomservice, also misleading from website. We definitely will not be returning to this hotel.

I regret to say that our recent stay at Mantra Pandanas in Darwin was far from satisfactory. The room we were initially assigned did not meet the cleanliness standards one would expect from a reputable hotel. The carpets and drapes were heavily stained, and the appliances bore visible signs of wear and tear. The bed linens were also unacceptable, leading us to request a room change. Although the second room was marginally better, it still did not meet our expectations, especially considering the room rate. The staff's response to our concerns was disappointing, treating our complaints as inconveniences rather than valid customer service issues. We were also informed only five days prior to our stay that the pool was under renovation. We sought potential compensation for this disruption, but we were flatly told none would be provided. Even our suggestion of waiving the $19 per night parking fee as a goodwill gesture was rejected, despite ample parking being available. Administrative difficulties added to our frustrations. We requested an invoice under our company's name, as this was a business trip, but the hotel staff insisted that this was not possible. This contrasts sharply with our experiences with other hotels, including another Mantra property in Melbourne, where such requests were easily accommodated. Disturbingly, at no point did we receive an apology for any of the issues we encountered. We were not even extended a simple acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction, which further compounded our disappointment. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we can't recommend Mantra Pandanas to others. We hope that the Mantra management will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving the service and conditions at this property.

For 4 half starI expected a better. Hotel room TV was small Chairs uncomfortable Balcony small and not inviting at all. Rusty marks on tiles old patio furniture. Staff however lovely. Buffet breakfast is well worth the money. Location good . No daily servic for rooms less than a weeks stay So we had to use pool towels for clean towels. There was a shortage of linen one day I've stayed in far better hotels for half that price Considering they charge $400 a night compared to $400 in surfers a hotel room at the Marriott .This should not be 4 half stars hotel Maybe 4 stars The Pool area was lovely especially at night. But not many sun loungers or chair space around the pool to sit. For the size of this hotel Note they call a hotel room An apartment. It's a room. So make sure you book the right one As it can be deceiving when they advertise it as an apartment . It's not even a studio it's a hotel room With tiny fridge. Kettle Tea Coffee Complimentary milk . Iron Ironing board If I go to Darwin again I will stay elsewhere. I was disappointed with the size of Hotel room and Furnishings. Bathroom sink leaked so we couldn't wash up properly . Though Bathroom was modern and clean. I never give negative comments usually But don't expect 4 half stars For this Patched up carpet by the balcony sliding doors . Sorry but in it wasn't a water view I would have felt closed in

Clean. Friendly. Helpful. Airconditioning works well. Water pressure is good. Enough lights. Power points and USB chargers around room or in base of lamps! Carpet clean. Bathroom clean. Washing machine not clean with old soap and water still in it but easy resolved and not detrimental to stay. Room service meals varied without a hideous delivery fee. $5 delivery cheaper than uber! View spectacular. Concierge desk friendly. But don't forget your razor. You can get a toothbrush but not a razor as they are dangerous apparently. Kitchenette is stocked well with tools and dishwasher. Large bar Fridge defrosts easily but is spacious for a few days of small meals. I would stay here again and am pleased this place was available during my time here.

Dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. It was disgusting. Hair, stains, dust everywhere, broken air on and tv remote, it smelled badly in the room and hallway (I stayed on the 19th level.) it was a handicap room where the sink was low which is wonderful when someone needs it, but for someone with a bad back- using the sink was a real challenge. They never asked me if being in a handicapped room was ok, wouldn’t change my room or let me cancel the reservation. They also had their restaurant closed for dinner. Truly, a terrible experience. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this dank hotel.

This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are unique, spacious, quiet, and they all have incredible views of the city/bay area. I also love the pool and the relaxing hotel lobby. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and close to everything, including restaurants, cafes, shops and the waterfront. Additionally, the hotel is environmentally conscious and I was impressed to see the Dreamgreen bed covers in the room. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and the one bedroom apartment. Thank you.
