Dining out should be a slow experience, whilst the food was very good, we felt rushed all the times with the service,no sooner had we received our entree,s the staff were trying to serve us the main course even though we asked for a break. and even before they had cleared the plates away they were trying to tempt us with desert being told that the kitchen closes at 9.30 pm, for heavens sake slow down.My other comments would be that whilst there seemed to be enough staff around only one person most of the time was actually serving the meals out and we also noticed that the meals were banking up on the servery awaiting service to the tables . NOT GOOD. GETS COLD WAITING. The staff should receive more training and if you are to take late bookings [ after 8 PM ] should not rush people, as I said dining out at a restaurant of your standing should be a...

I arrived in the morning and was greeted by the staff with warm smiles, which set a positive tone for my visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and took the time to introduce me to the various breakfast options available.

The breakfast menu was impressively diverse, offering a wide range of choices to cater to all tastes and preferences. I opted for the continental breakfast, which allowed me to enjoy a buffet-style experience similar to customers who stay in hotel. The combination of good food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere made for an excellent overall experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious breakfast in a welcoming...

I have to travel for work and stay in different hotels across SA & NT. I choose to stay at Oaks Elan for my Darwin trips partly becuase this hotel restaurant is actually really great. It’s open for breakfast and dinner, the caesar salad is superb (add the garlic prawns), the eggs benny at breakfast are perfect, the coffee is actually really great, and the food is consistently good every time I come here. The service is friendly and speedy. The vibe is chill.

At the end of a work day in a new town, the last thing I want to do is go restaurant hunting, and I don’t need to when I stay here. Lock it in, no need to look elsewhere....

Loved the Slow Braised Beef Cheeks dish and definitely would recommend! Also ordered the Ranger's Valley Rump and Porterhouse (going hyper-carnivore here!) which were decent too, although would say they're pretty common on the Darwin restaurant menus in case you're more keen to try something else than steaks on your trip. Staff was great and accomodating dietary requirements. Kitchen forgot to separate the sauce but they did come friendlily to double check with us first.
