Very clean campground. Showers and toilets are spotless. 65 dollar per night for unpowered campsite. BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED about the staff and service. The day we arrived we called them and asked for a unpowered campsite. They told us $65 per night. 5 minutes later we called them back to ask a question and suddenly they wanted $80 per night. We insisted to pay $65 as promised. When we arrived we had already the feeling they didn’t like what they do. The day after we washed our two blankets and the washing machine showed the signal “unbalanced”. Because of a sign which said the washing machine will balance it out by itself we waited 30 minutes but nothing happened and the time also didn’t go down. I went to the office and asked for help. The man behind the counter said he will come and have a look. By the time we walked back to the washing machine the machine stopped itself and both blankets were soaked in water because the washing machine skipped the spinning part of the wash cycle. I asked for assistance regarding the soaked blankets and received non from the man. He was just really rude and said: “that is not the way to wash blankets.” I couldn’t believe it. I have washed these blankets several times before on different campgrounds and never had issues. Really disappointing and annoying especially he didn’t even offer any solution. He didn’t give us the $5 washing fee back or offered us to use the dryer free of charge. That’s really poor customer service especially for the money you...

IF I COULD PUT NO STARS I WOULD. We booked over the phone and paid with a lovely lady for a powered site for 4 nights. When we arrived the rudest young male we have to deal with in the last 2 years on the road while travelling put us on a non powered site out the back. Very depressing no shade no power When we inquired why we were on a no powered sited. His reply was we booked on line and that's what we booked . When we showed him we had booked over the phone with 2 phone calls made and that we spoke to a lady.(Denise) He informed us no females worked here. Ever. LIED TO OUR FACE that it was only him here. Kept saying that we booked on line refuring that we are lying. He was aggressive rude and very arrogant in the way he spoke to us. He said we could cancel with no where to go at such late time of the day. if we were not happy which we did. Then they charged us a $20 cancellation fee for their mistake. It wasn't about how much(but it was very expensive for no powered site).we had to have power for medical reasons..In the end we straight down the road to Tasman van park for 4 nights. Fantastic service from the ladies on the front desk. A much better park and we have beautiful views of the beach. We are members of several caravan clubs .......reviews ...

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Shark Bay Caravan Park! The managers, Nadene and Geoff, are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Denise at the reception is a gem – such a warm and wonderful person!

The campsite is impeccably maintained. The showers and toilets are cleaned thoroughly twice a day and are spotless. The campsites themselves are beautiful, and the facilities are great. A highlight is the amazing camp kitchen, complemented by a cozy BBQ area perfect for relaxing.

And the pool – what a treat! We were lucky enough to experience a magical evening when another guest brought out his guitar, and with the hosts joining in, we all enjoyed live music under the stars. The atmosphere was simply unforgettable, and we ended up staying an extra four days because we loved it so much.

The area around Denham is full of adventures, too. We thoroughly enjoyed off-road sand driving in François Peron National Park all the way up to Cape Peron and Skipjack Point, where we spotted tiger sharks, dugongs, and turtles. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars!

A huge thank you to all the staff at Shark Bay Caravan Park. Without you, we probably would have left after two days, but because of your exceptional hospitality, we stayed much longer. Highly...

A good spot if you don't plan on staying for multiple nights! My partner and I stayed in a powered site for 50$/night and had the unpleasant experience of sharing our site with the locals.... black ants. We unkowningly parked on a nest and in the morning the inside of our car was crawling with them, despite being fairly clean people. We were both covered in bites trying to deal with them. Stay away from bay 26! Others have already commented on this but there are an abundance of rules and signs! Facilities (toilets, showers, camp kitchen) were clean and many amenities available (hot showers, microwave, oven, toaster, communal area TV). We understand asking visitors to clean up after themselves and to be respectful but we found that advertising that the facilities are only cleaned once per day rather offputting and concerning. Furthermore the ladies were asked to mop up their shower after they finished, a very strange request. However, we arrived right on closing time and the team were very generous to get us settled in at the end of the day. Overall the facilities were clean and provided us with what we needed for the night. Attached images of park map and some of the rules.

Stayed here with our motorhome on 14/7/24 for one night. Very pleasant stay and new owner has plans for further improvements. The ablution block has both ensuite type shower/loo combo and the usual type, clean and plenty hot water and water pressure. Below is a photo of the CP plan. All sites are hard crushed shell gravel style. There is water and power but I didn't see waste water drains. The sites 60-82 are exposed with no shade, there is room here for big rigs. The sites along the fence 41-54 are best IMO because they offer the most privacy with each having a privacy screen. The middle sites are very crowded with no privacy but some tree shade. The camp kitchen is basic but serviceable, there are 2 very slow electric stoves but work just need some patience. A microwave, kettle, TV, fridge and some bar style table/chairs and some couches. Carry a torch at night. Good to know that it's an uphill walk from the main road and on a hot day not much shade along the way. Not a problem for those with a car. Don't know why I didn't take other photos🫢. I would stay again.

We have just enjoyed 8 days at this wonderful little park. Amenities were spotlessly Clean, grounds were well kept with individual fencing for each site. Walkways/pathways lit up with lights so getting around at night wasn’t a problem. The ensuite shower blocks had the BEST new rain shower heads to die for! Laundry 4 big new washing machines and 2 big dryers. All new tiling and painting to ablution block. The friendly staff of Bob/Trish and Dave/Kerry could not do enough for you! Met owner Kenny and he has lots of new plans for park ie new pool area, big green grassed entertaining area, children’s playground and new campers kitchen that will hopefully be finished by Christmas. We can’t wait to go back and see the new renovations. Thank you to all and we can’t wait highly recommend this park to all. Walk back from beach is a little steep but good for the heart, don’t let this put you off from staying here, cheers until next time Sharon and Greg 🙌
